This movie was very enjoyable. I’m glad something this good sprung from the now defunct Justice League. The 4K picture quality is second to none. Great acting, writing, producing and stunning quality. I’m also a steelbook collector and this version is nice and goes along well with my other DC comic themed steelbooks. As a bonus this version came with a free digital copy when pre-ordering. We enjoyed it streaming and playing 4K. I would recommend this to movie fans of all ages.

Aquaman is an absolute hoot. It's an action movie with great visual effects and a fine performance by Jason Momoa as the hero. He has a very nice comic touch which adds to the character. The Dolby Vision and HDR10 pictures are reference quality and the Dolby Atmos audio is what a big movie like this should have. The disc set comes with an abundance of special features as well. This is a movie that will hold up very well on repeat viewings and is well worth the purchase price.

After the movie Justice League, Aquaman is a wild ride with the origin story of addressing his role of heir to the throne of Atlantis, his dead mother, and a new foe that wants to avenge his father’s death. Jason Momoa plays up the main character very well and the rest of the cast are exceptional with their roles as well. Lots of great suspense and action throughout will make you cheer and mourn at the same time. The 4K version has so much color and detail. Recommended.

Sometimes I want to watch a movie that lets me escape the daily grind - this has become my favorite movie this summer to do that. I think the CG is outstanding, and if you can get past the battle scenes with mermen riding great white sharks and turtles the size of school buses then this should keep you occupied with fun for a couple of hours. There is enough campy fun in this to let you know that this movie is doing what it is intended for - entertainment.

What a fun adventure! While my love of Batman gives me a soft spot for all DC live action movies (even as they have struggled with them), I think Aquaman is one of the best along with Wonder Woman. Fun, full of action, and with some beautiful sequences. I wasn’t sure about the Jason Momoa casting initially but now think it was inspired. He looks like he is having a great time with the character. And I am happy to take the journey with him. :D Highly recommended.

Aguaman, 4K Blu-Ray the over all film was good, I sort of dozed off @ the theater, but now that have it in my collection of movie's I consider this a very good film to be in the water & on land is a feat in itself the sound is very good as well as the video. I'm a action buff so I've been able to watch certain underwater scenes with an open mind, that with today's technology this was a project that some years ago would not have been possible. I'll start by saying this movie is good. Not great, but good. What is great is the sound and visuals. Most of the visuals are amazing and the crispness of the 4k disc is reference quality. The sound mix has a ton of bass so if you have a subwoofer, you're in for a treat. Honestly, the sound is also reference quality as well. The story itself is nothing knew. Arthur's crazy half-brother, Orm, wants to start a war with the surface world. Arthur needs to find a mythical weapon so he can become Oceanmaster and defeat Orm. However, if you mix the okay story with the audio and visual components I mentioned, this does become very enjoyable and the repeat-viewing aspect is high. Overall, I recommend this movie.

The films plot alternates between flashbacks and events set in the present day. The flashbacks explain that Arthur Curry’s mother, Atlanna (Nicole Kidman) was arranged to be married to the King. She fled to the surface world, where she met lighthouse keeper Thomas Curry (Temuera Morrison). They fell in love and had Arthur. Atlantean forces came looking for Atlanna and, to keep Thomas and Arthur safe, she returned. Later, the King’s vizier Nuidis Vulko (Willem Dafoe) trained young Arthur to use his powers. Thus the origin of Aquaman is born. The music was weird and lots of CGI effects...I like it I tink Wonder Woman was better but this was a hard character to put out there in the movies...

I hadn't seen this movie while it was at the theaters, and I hadn't rented it at Redbox. So I had no idea of how good it was. I had never followed the Aquaman comic character, so I knew absolutely nothing about him. I almost passed it up as a purchase, but then decided to blindly take a chance on it, hoping it was a fair movie. I bought the 4K edition. I was surprised, because I didn't expect much from it, but it was much better than I thought it would be. You don't need to be an Aquaman fan to enjoy this movie. It tells you everything you need to know about him, starting from the beginning. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and visually it looked great on my LG OLED television. Very happy with my purchase.

3D has always been a bit of a gimmick, but with a movie like Aquaman, it really benefits from the conversion. With the epic underwater scenes, this is a movie much like Avatar that is enhanced by the 3D. The set also comes with a regular blu ray and DVD copy of the film as well as a digital copy and over an hour of in-depth special features. If you love superhero movies and have a 3D tv, this is well worth picking up on 3D and enjoying the spectacle!!

Although many may scoff at the idea of an Aquaman film (or Aquaman in general), there is no denying the amount of fun that this movie is having. Love or hate the film, James Wan throws everything into the kitchen sink and a really weird superhero movie emerges. It's a long one, but it's all worth it for those last twenty minutes. The finale coupled with an amazing team of VFX artist wrapped around a 4K Steelbook, the movie practically buys itself.

DC continues its ogwumike Justice League series with the addition of Aquaman. This movie fits in nicely with the recent releases of Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman, Wonder Woman, and Justice League. The extras are the ones we've come to expect in these recent movies, taking us through the many aspects of this feature. A few surprises, like how they had to digitally create hair in underwater situations, help cap this release well

The movie version of 'Aquaman' is a non-stop adventure in excitement, visual thrills and viewing satisfaction. CGI is used extensively, and the renderings are exceptional with one small hiccup. Two characters, played by Temuera Morrison and Willem Dafoe, had to be made to look 20 years younger for several of their scenes. The CGI used to for Morrison was not rendered very well and had a video game look to it. Overall, this movie is excellent.

AQUAMAN is a bombastic, underrated movie. Why? Because it is so loud and partially obnoxious -- but it is FUUUUUN! Colorful! Vibrant! And's got attitude to spare. This movie turned me on to learn how to breathe underwater, which I still haven't managed to figure out. I'm getting gill implants next week, so I'll let you know that cosmetic procedure goes when the sequel comesot. James Wan is an international treasure -- always see his movies.

Went out and bought this on a whim. Didn't hear much about the movie good nor bad. Neat back story on Aquamarine separated from the Justice League movie and Batman vs Superman. Lots of actors in it not shown in the commercials like Willem Defoe and Dolph Lundgren as well as the actor who played Jango Fett in Star Wars. The special effects done underwater is amazing. If you like comic books and superhero movies you will enjoy this one as well!

Aquaman was a nice change from the more recent "dark" DC movies. It takes itself much less seriously and is a much more fun and enjoyable movie. Jason Momoa is excellent as Aquaman, and the rest of the cast also do a great job. The 4K picture quality is sharp, especially scenes with bubbles / foam in the water and explosions (and Jason's hair flip). The sound mix is also well done. The Steelbook release / art is unique and looks great!

I bought it for my wife for obvious reasons but was interested in watching it myself. It turned out to be full of action with some romance in it as well. Still a little preachy but that seems to be the way of movies today. You can't just enjoy a movie without a little climate change, humans are bad for the environment or SJW mixed in.

I was skeptical about Jason Nokia Momoa after Justice League, but he does a good job in Aquaman. Story is a bit formulaic, but it's an origin story, so what do you expect. Visuals are great, especially the final battle. DolbyVision was impressive, very good dynamic range, colors pop when they need to. There is that artificial "green screen" look common in DC and Snyder films. Audio is equally great and should be a good demo disc.

Jason Momoa was born for the Aquaman role. He played it perfectly and I loved the back story of Atlantis and how they had to go find the missing trident of Atlan! Willem Dafoe kills it with his character and Amber Heard is GORGEOUS!! Patrick Wilson played a really good "Ocean Master" and Nicole Kidman of course was amazing! Loved Dolph Lundgren as well! This was DC's best movie to date next to Wonder Woman and Shazam!

I ordered this movie online at a great price (less than $10) when it was on sale. It was ready for pickup in 2 days. When I got to the store, it was during my lunch hour. The pickup was right inside near the main entrance of the store which made it convenient. The clerk was very courteous and friendly and I was able to get in and out of the store with my purchase. Great movie, great price, great service!
