I grew up playing NBA jam with my brothers so when i saw this i had to have it. I have a few of the other arcade cabinets but this one is by far the most polished. The stool is good height, the added lights are a nice bonus. The game itself is solid and i love the fact that it has online. You can easily just join any game in progress if they have it set to available. I do miss the ability to talk trash to the players but understand it’s an arcade game and not a console game. I would love to see all the players that are missing added at a later date via software update since now that’s an option. Buy this and you will have hours of fun.

It takes a lot for me to be wowed by any product. NBA Jam by Arcade1Up wowed me and then some. Let it be known, that I am a huge fan of this game and have always wanted a full-size cabinet so having this in my home is a dream come true, but it really does deliver on so many levels. The fact you get three games is terrific. NBA Jam and Tournament Edition are roughly the same game with T.E. featuring more players and the ability to change lineups at halftime. HangTime is a gem. More players, better graphics and way more fun to play with a teammate (double dunks). The games play true to the originals. I haven't used the WiFi much so I can't tell you how the online multiplayer works. To me, that just adds so much more of a replay factor to this cabinet with the ability to play someone and not the CPU if you're alone. Oh, and I forgot to mention... it looks awesome. The light-up marquee pops. I also am a fan of the deck protector light which can display multiple colors. I just let it cycle through them all. Did I mention I liked it yet? Well done, Arcade1Up.

Obviously Arcade 1UP cabinets have been around for a while but I have been holding off on getting one as I wasn’t super thrilled with the available choices. When I heard this option was coming out I quickly put in a pre-order for it and was even happier when the arrival date was bumped up. If you are a fan of the NBA Jam and HangTime series then I highly suggest getting this one. The cabinet and stool shipped together in a large but easy to move box and everything arrived in fine shape. It was easy to assemble and within about an hour of getting everything set up my husband and I were online and playing against one another. I am incredibly happy with this purchase and it looks great in the dark in our game room. I am certainly happy I got the riser as well because with it you can comfortably stand and sit without any issues which is saying something because both my husband and myself are very tall! Highly recommended!

This was my first Arcade1up machine and I am extremely happy with my purchase! Setup was very straightforward and only took about an hour. Online play (via WiFi) works great and finding a game to join is pretty easy most of the time. Joysticks and buttons feel great, the monitor is extremely crisp, and the graphics printed on the cabinet look fantastic. I grew up playing this game in the local Arcades and always dreamed of owning one, but prices for an original are ridiculous, not to mention the maintenance they usually require. I strongly recommend picking this one up if you are on the fence about it!

Replacing an original NBA JAM cabinet. This is much smaller and quieter and quicker to boot up. Having 3 games plus wifi online play is a big advantage. Stool was surpisingly good quality and the graphics all around the cabinet are great.

I grew up in 80's arcades so I don't remember playing this game in the 90's, but it really is a LOT of fun and has virtually unlimited replayability. Haven't used the online gaming yet as I'm trying to polish my skills before I go against humans. Graphics and screen clarity are also much better than some of the A1up's 80's remakes, as are the controls. The joysticks feel a little more stout than others. Both the unit and the stool look great, much better than the picture. Very satisfied.

Arcade 1Up has has really stepped up their production with the last wave. Everything was packed well, no scuffs or scratches, the BOE monitor and lit marquee are great, as are the stereo speakers. This NBA Jam cab is easily the best in the lineup for me personally, and it's been the first that has completely looked and felt like the legit original. The immersion/nostalgia is real! Takes me right back to the pizza parlor circa '93-'95 where I used to play it.

He's on fire! If you were a fan of the old NBA Jam series, this is perfect for yourself (or your kids). This is my first Arcade1Up machine, so I was building everything without background knowledge on these things. It took me about 4 hours but I could have cut that time in half had I used a drill and didn't mess up a few times. The final product is AWESOME. The cabinet is well built and everyone is jealous of it. Haha Great quality of materials and the instructions were sufficient enough for me. The game so far appears close to the OG versions but with the built-in Wifi, I anticipate that will continue to make updates (such as with roster updates). Plus if you'd like, you can partner with other players or challenge other players across the country. Great concept there. Different stores offer different versions of the cabinet or may/may not have the stool included. BestBuy offers an NBA Jam stool and has an LED light strip which was a nice touch. Other stores might not have a stool, might have the TE version of the stool, or might not have the LED strips but has light up keys. I personally like the version I bought from Best Buy very much. I wish it was a little cheaper but this arcade is so popular that it is selling out quickly at various locations... So if you if you're on the fence, I would highly recommend buying the NBA Jam Arcade when you can!

This is my third Arcade1up unit. I also own Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. This arcade is way more refine than its two predecessor but it not exempt of flaws. The two other units I own had both something broken out of the box, this one is the first that seem to work just fine, no broken button, no dead pixel... Construction is still a bit fleemsy and quality of materials is on the lowest side. I picked up this product via curbside shopping and the box containing the arcade was totally destroyed. I had to help the salesperson to load it into my trunk and you could tell he really didn't care to the point that he was scratching the side of my trunk and keep pushing no matter what. Also this unit is way bigger than the other ones and will take a significant amount of space. The stool is poorly constructed but robust enough I guess. Overall good but not great.

So I don’t write reviews but I will for this one. Basic summary: Easy to assemble, great quality material, gameplay pretty perfect, legit nostalgia and enjoyment. Only thing that isn’t great is the online play and I have a strong signal, also not as easy to just join a game. Overall if you could afford it get it. 18 month finance no interest! Lol

I own several Arcade1up arcades and I would have to say this is probably the best one to date. The cabinet artwork is great, the light up deck while not what a lot of people expected based off the preview picture is still pretty cool in my opinion. I would rather have it then not. The matching stool is really nice too. I would say this bundle is a good value if you need a stool. The gameplay is just how I remembered, I find myself always playing Hangtime vs the other two even though I never really played it back in the day. I think it’s just a lot better version of NBA Jam to be honest. Online play is a really cool factor and helps with replay ability sometimes connections can be spotty but I’m sure there’s lots of factors with that mainly whether someone’s connection speed is good. Overall I def recommend this cabinet and look forward to future releases as it seems the quality has gotten a lot better with these new releases!

This was my first Arcade 1Up purchase and boy did I hit it on the head. This arcade system is everything I could have ever asked for and more! Everything about it screams out 90s nostalgia, from the graphics to the music its all there. Overall game play is on point and with wifi you can play anyone from anywhere.

Easily the company’s best cabinet. If your a hoops fan or even just a fan of arcade over the top sports action this is a must buy. Sure there are players missing but with online play and ability to update the system through WiFi this is a great cab. You will be cramped with four adult friends but it’s great with kids.

I already own six other cabinets (SF2, Asteriods, Pac Man, TMNT, Final Fight, and Marvel v Capcom). This cabinet features all of the recent upgrades like the light up marque and enhanced monitor with real feel joysticks and buttons. But the unique addition was the light up control deck. Basically there is a RGB light strip along the far edge of the plexiglass panel that has a push button on the right to light up in different colors, fade, or turn off. The effect is great in person and lights up the white markings printed on underside of the plexiglass making them easy to read especially in the dark. The game selection and options are incredible including online with updates and online play. NBA Hangtime is incredible on here. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come (come on Marvel v Capcom 2!!).

Great classic 3/4 scale of NBA Jam. This is one of the newer cabinets which include online play. Easy to assemble and looks great. A little pricey, but goes on sale often. Great cabinet if building a small collection or large collection.

The Arcade 1Up - NBA JAM is visually a great piece of gaming equipment. Very easy to put together, very sturdy and plays excellent! I also love how it connects with other players via WiFi! Excellent Choice! The lights, sounds and lighted deck add to the gaming atmosphere.

If you’re a fan of NBA Jam this is a must have. Assembly was quick and easy. The packaging was excellent. Gameplay is smooth, screen is vivid and controls work well. The online play is fantastic, especially if you have friends that bought the game too.

We use this arcade machine often. We own some others from arcade1up as well and enjoy them all. This is good even for the younger players as someone can play on their team or the computer will assist. Good two on two basketball.

This game is a ton of fun. I would have given it 5 stars except for the fact that not all of the teams have 2 players. Apparently arcade 1up couldn’t get the licenses for some of the players so a few teams have 1 player and the 2nd “player” is a duplicate of him. Other than that it is really a great game. My kids love it and it is simple enough for anyone to play.
