AFM Pinball
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Disappointed to the fullest. I was so excited to recive my new pinball and it was a let down. For one it wasnt as cool as i thought, the graphics were horrible. I have the star wars pinball and it didnt even come close to being as amazing as that one. Also my unit was defective so i has to return.

Arrived with numerous factory defects
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Right out of the box one speaker didn't work and a flipper solenoid was dead. Then the accelerometer went and it started constantly thinking the table was being nudged, making the game unplayable. The firmware was updated to the latest, but it made no difference. Looks like there are major Q&A issues with the hardware that should have been caught at the factory!

get the marvel or star wars version.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.very disappointing purchase. The g-sensor doesn't work, I've manually unplugged it to make the machine playable and it took about 8 cables to get the VERY ANNOYING update to work. Now support wants me to do a diagnostics test to prove to them the TILT function is broken when I've already sent them several videos showing it being unplayable. not thrilled with Arcade1UP customer service so 1 star it is. I ended up paying another $130 to get the add-on from a different site that allows the Switch to be hooked in so you can play your switch pinball on this machine. wish I woulda saved myself about 5 hours worth of hassle and not bought this machine. you can also get Attack From Mars by adding the a1pinner mod. I'd suggest gettnig one of the other versions and adding this to it.

Great but has room for improvement like 1080P
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best of their pinball lineup. I do think there are some areas for improvement like how it only uses 720P though the display is 1080P (I think they had to do this to get 60FPS which is required for Virtual Pin Ball)

Cheap internal parts
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the attack from mars pinball machine in june of 2021. The first night I put it together and played one game for five minutes just to make sure it worked. I worked that night so on the way home in the morning I went to lowes to buy a real piece of glass to cover the playfield. The plexiglass it comes with is horrible because it distorts the screen very badly. I installed the glass and began to play medieval times. It is a great game and I was on a roll. About twenty minutes into playing the game the main screen went black for a split second. This concerned me but the game continued to play. About a minute later the screen went black again for a second. I then returned to the main menu and chose another game. After the next game loaded up it played ok for a few seconds and then the screen went blank again. I then turned the power off and back on again and this time the main screen went into a color test of a solid red, blue, green and then white and the pinball machine would not recover from this color test. I looked inside of the console and checked and reseated every wire and connector and the game would still not leave the color test screen. I then returned the pinball machine to best buy for a full refund.

Will they fix it?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arcade1up communication is terrible. Arcade1up quality control is terrible. They are a subpar company in all aspects. They have refused to accept this item as a return. Their warranty is for parts only according to customer support. They are frequently out of parts and have not put out any updates to fix the issues with any of their products in 5 months. Customer support has stated they are working on a patch but they have said that before with other products and it hasn't happened. I am currently waiting on a patch that may never come. There are multiple issues with this pinball machine that need to be fixed. I would not recommend buying this product until they get their act together and start standing behind the products they sell. This is the last time I buy a product from this company.

Best Buy sucks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm sure the machine is okay. This review is for Best Buy. I bought this machine twice, each time received email stating order went through...followed by a "cancellation" email. It seems BB doesn't even have these in stock, although the website continues to offer for sale. Abysmal.

Great fun
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This machine is awesome! I can sit for hours and play. The structure of the machine is very well made. I also have some arcade machines and this pinball machine is much more sturdy then the arcade machines made by the same company.

Broke after 3 months. Waste of money.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing but issues after issues. Absolutely done with this company. You spend hundreds on their products and they just break in months. This is the second item I have bought from arcade1up that has just broken and were never able to be repaired and never got more than spotty service from their customer service. I recieved this in May. It broke in August and I have spent a month trying to get a fix from arcade1up. So far the following have broken in under 3 months Main PCBA Board The motion sensor used to detect movement of the cabinet I have still been unable to fix the main PCBA issue and arcade1up just sends out this item you aren't even supposed to install yourself, and gives zero instructions. At this point I have just accepted this item I waited a year and a half for and bought for 650 dollars is just going in the dumpster after only 3 months. I've owned bootleg devices that lasted longer. I will never waste my money with this company again.

Broken Attack from Mars Pinball machine-Arcade 1up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Attack From Mars pinball was broke from the start. Extreme flipper lag. Thankfully, There was a firmware update version from Arcade 1up. Downloaded it and updated it. After that the game would tilt randomly and there was cutting out of audio. You can see the video here as to what it was doing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQeXsCYgcZI

Overpriced + high demand for goods = Bad for you
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overpriced. It's a 24" TV and a small DMD screen with about $100 worth of MDF and some metal legs. The property Attack from Mars is an awesome one, but this is about $200 over what anyone should be forced to pay. I'll just stick with my current vpin setup and pass. Maybe they'll figure it out eventually.
