I’m quite shocked that this solar panel does not fully charge my Arlo essential as I thought it would do. It trickles the charge to the camera but the camera itself slowly drains.

I have the essential camera in a high traffic area. On its own it lasted a good long while. Down to 24% remaining I thought it may have to come down in order to charge.. I installed this arlo solar panel on a sunny day ( I live in the North East). What a pleasant surprise it immediately began charging the camera and quite quickly. I recommend this product.

Does what it is suppose to do. I have it attached to my front door camera, which gets the most alerts. My neighbors have little kids who are constantly running in my driveway and up my steps, so the camera gets a lot of alerts. It stays between 80 and 100%. It works perfectly for me.

Having a physical disability, I had the Geek Squad install four (4) Arlo Essential cameras and solar panels. Within a week, one camera ultimately died while connected to the solar panel. If it ever charges, it doesn't charge past 3% battery life. At no point have any of the cameras reached 100% battery life. All trees surrounding my house have been cut down, and I live in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, where snow isn't a factor. Because the camera covering the front of the house died, I bought a single Arlo Pro 4 and a compatible Wasserstein Solar Panel to go over the front door. That camera and solar panel have worked incredibly and have maintained a high battery life percentage. (Note) while the Technician finished installing the Arlo Pro 4, I asked that the Arlo Essential Solar Panel be adjusted to have better Sun contact. To my dismay, the camera didn't charge more than 8% and promptly died thereafter. This camera gets a two (2) rating because my other cameras have maintained a 30% to 60% battery, but now I noticed that one camera is now 20% to 30% range. If I ever repurchase Arlo cameras, I will only buy higher quality cameras that use the Wasserstein Solar Panel.

Description of the item is accurate and works perfect

when well placed this device absorbs solar energy automatically recharging the camera without my needing to get up on a ladder again to replace batteries. I am very pleased.

The solar panels do not last. I can’t exchange them because they don’t carry them anymore at Best Buy. I was told Arlo discontinued them. I now have to get on a ladder every week to take them down to charge manually. I was told to check on Amazon to see if they sell it. What a waste.

Item is great, but I had to return it because it is not compatible with Arlo Pro 2 cameras

Small footprint, good attachments, ample cord length, charges very well if positioned correctly. Well worth the cost to not have to take the camera down and charge batteries, especially if camera is positioned where it came be reached from the ground.

This charger saves me from having to take my camera down every week. I always see my battery is full within a couple hours after sunrise. I was charging at least twice a week before this solar charger. Just got it but I don’t have to get up and pull my camera anymore for charging.

They work great.my camera stay charged at all times we really enjoy them we do not have to take our Arlo's down to recharge them every week and the app shows us that is charging and how much charge they have

Its ok kinda charges slow but it does its job........
