These arlo pro cameras are good quality for security monitoring.

The screw the system on the market in my opinion it does have a little bit of lag time but the recording is free rechargeable batteries and I get multiple views of everything picture quality is great so I'm qualities OK I wish they would've put better speakers and microphones in them but I have no real complaints

4 cameras in system provide nice quality video. Batteries last nicely if false recordings are minimal. The software lacks vital features to make system functional. Ability to record until subject leaves is lacking... only time option is available with 10 seconds variable up to 2 minutes but doesn't stop if subject leaves frame. Needs an option to record while motion is detected. Next, Need option to zone the area for motion detection to prevent false recordings. Camera great but software needs to greatly improve to make system acceptable.

Love my cameras. Just added 4 more to my 5. Work great at capturing movement around my house and yard. I Would have given 5 stars if not for the delay in recording and lag in opening cameras for viewing.

We are very please with the product the cameras are exceptional both day and night we added this to our current security system and really like the flexibility and we both have access to our home when not at home couldn't ask for better.

love using arlo. makes me more paranoid now always seeing whats at my front door, like the neighborhood cat

This was a great starter kit for me to add to my smartthings hub. Battery life is decent as it depends on how often the camera captures motion. Added to front door and back door at home and all has been well.

Great system, easy set up, but it only comes with 1 exterior mount. Does have 4 interior mounts. Was not clear prior to purchase. This system upgrades to the rechargeable batteries instead of the lithium 123 of the non pro system. Nice except the system does not come with a charging dock for the batteries (that is another $65 or $70). So the only way to recharge the batteries is to take down the camera off your mount and plug it in. The batteries are removable so you can just take down 1 camera and remove the other 3 batteries in that camera. Just would have been nice for $650 that the system comes with the chargig dock also. If you are ysing indoor, not a big issue, the mounts are magnetic and easy to just pull down the camera, only an issue with the exterior mounts.

Love these cameras I have had no problems with them. I had a man at my door late at night and it caught everything. Even him taking a leak in my yard. Very good quality so the cops got a good picture of his face. Would definitely recommend!

The system fits all of our needs. 3 cameras out and one inside. Great way to watch the house and property.

This is easy to set up and the motion detector is picking up cats an raccoons walking across my yard I never knew about. A little difficult to retrieve a video but then I am not computer savvy. You can easily monitor from your iphone.

Great cameras just a lot of false alarms cause of light change

These cameras were very good and useful but unfortunately one of them didn't charge so i had to return it.

Great video, store on USB drive instead of paying for cloud, awesome product. If you are buying for outside make sure you pick up extra outdoor mounts. I also bought extra battery and charger which makes changing battery a breeze

When away from home I can see all over my home and I am notified if there is any movement. Great security!

I was looking for a wireless solution and this works great. Easy set-up and the batteries last longer than expected before needing to recharge. Only drawback for me is it is only motion activated so it doesnt really provide 24/7 monitoring but I was aware of that when i purchased.

Being unable to run new wiring to an area where I wanted cameras, I found the Arlo - Pro Indoor/Outdoor HD Wire-Free Security Camera System. The base station will save to the cloud and hook into my 3-TB external storage unit. I only give it three stars until it's fully tested out.

These wireless, battery operated, cameras are a very good alternative to wired cameras. If you don't want the trouble and expense of having to have your house wired this is the way to go. They aren't great but do a pretty good job.
