I love the Arlo pro 4 , it’s a great camera and has great video Quality , I love how it zooms in and the camera will move when it text the animal or person moving, the only down fall is the battery life they say it last for 6 months no it will not last that long it depends on how much motion it picks up , the one that I have in my driveway the battery was at 100% 2 days later it’s down to 92%.

The Arlo Pro 4 is definitely the type of camera you can set up and trust to do its job. It has color night vision and an integrated spotlight that guarantees your high-definition videos. It is easy to install and works perfectly once connected to wifi. It is wireless and has long battery life. The best feauture is to arm your home so you can get alerts for any motion detection including cars passing or package delivery. It also offer two way interaction. CONS: You have to pay monthly subscription to keep keep all features. $12.99 for ALL CAMERAS.

Awesome cameras, able to pick up great picture and sound as well

The cameras are great, however I don't like how now with the newer generation cameras you have to have a smart hub to see your videos on the app or purchase a subscription. With the Gen 2 I could view videos any time.

This is a great set and much cheaper than buying on the Arlo website. Every item is well made and works great. My only negative is that you must use a key to open the cameras to replace the batteries. Plus, the key is very small and can get lost easily. To solve that problem, I attached it to a big plush keychain. Now, it will be harder to loose. Other than that one negative, I'm pleased with what I received.

The installation was quick and easy just needed a drill and a Wi-Fi connection. App alerts, spotlight, perfect camera.

Set up can be easier (especially if you need to update from an older app to the new one) but it’s very straightforward. Love the ability to not need a base station and rely solely on WiFi. Bought a few more units after this purchase.

Works great and easy to install. Good cameras and app is easy to navigate. You can mount them anywhere.

The video quality of the Arlo Pro 4 cameras is very good. However, without paying extra for an Arlo Smart Hub, there is no way to record 24/7 video footage, only event based recording. Also, like anything on a WiFi network, these cameras can be hacked into. Within a few days of getting my Arlo cameras set up, and paying for a pricey Arlo Cloud subscription, my cameras were hacked into and the perpetrators were able to edit the footage in close to real-time using technology similar to green screen photography footage. They were able to remove certain people from my video footage and break into my home undetected! I contacted Arlo’s customer support on seven occasions, but they weren’t any help. They were unable to get the unedited footage or help me figure out who was behind this crime! They never even refunded me the several hundred dollars I paid for their monthly cloud surveillance subscription. Waste of time, money, and a huge disappointment!

I have never been this disappointed with an electronic item I bought. This is not just a review specific about Arlo 4 cameras but the fundamental problem with Arlo system in general. Arlo camera with hubs won’t work at all if you have 2.4 ghz wifi (who doesnot have right) issue is Arlo hubs use that spectrum to communicate apparently and can’t manage the conflict. This makes the hubs useless and with out monthly paid plans your cameras becomes worthless and won’t able able to recorded anything just the live feed. Now even if you put these cameras on the wifi they are slow response and they every to start showing the vdos including for the doorbell cameras. These production are build to work with paid monthly plans and not with hubs.

It’s good for the price. Still has it’s slight issues here and there, but holds its own.

Upgrade from pro 2. Easy installation and multiple ways to charge which is nice. Wish night infared was longer range / stronger vs relying on spotlight. Got on sale so still worth it.

Get the Arlo Smarthub! Put all cameras, spotlights on the hub. Fast and easy installation for us rookies! Tweak settings in the Arlo app for optimal performance. Love camera features. Live in a cold, sub-zero (at times) climate and the cameras worked when motion detected. Zoom and auto-tracking is great! Microphones and speakers sensitive and perform very well two-way when activated. Highly recommend!

I was surprised by how this security camera. I have tested the Wyze Outdoor Camera and the ring stick up camera and i am a Ring fan but this Camera changes the game. i haven't seen many 2k cameras out there. This has a 160 degree viewing angle. Before i had to have two Ring stick up cameras but now i can just have one mounted. This not only has a ultra wide viewing it is also very smart. It has auto zoom and it detects animals , vehicles, packages, and humans. Mine is mounted on a 3rd floor story outside window ledge and it still detects the difference. the clarity is one of the best also as playback videos are 100% clear and there is no lag. The pictures i uploaded you can make out the detail like what a person is wearing or what make and model of a car is. ect. If my camera was mounted on a first or second floor i could easily tell license plates and faces.

Great cameras just have to mess with the setting to get them working just right. And the spot light is bright enough.

I have had the cameras for about six weeks now. The cameras illustrate a nice picture and are easy to install. The scene management is easy to explore and manipulate. Each scene can be deleted as well as the whole day. I plan on purchasing more of these cameras. You can receive notifications over your phone when you're away from home.

I bought this camera a week ago and had it installed in front of my house the same day. The setup and install was very easy to do and I had the camera up and running in no time. You are able to set parameters for where the camera will pick up things and start recording which is amazing. The video quality is amazing and I can see everything very clear on the camera when it does record. The problem is the battery life. The box states that the battery should last 3 months. Well I’m here to tell you that’s a big fat lie. I’ve had the camera 1 week and it’s already died on me. They obviously make it that way so you can buy their $60 solar panel which is ridiculous for the price of this camera. Overall I definitely love the camera, but not the idea of charging it weekly. If you buy this camera definitely get the solar panel, unless you have time on your hands to charge it weekly.

Honestly wanted something similar to the RING and more affordable as well as affordable for the monthly subscription thats required, very easy to setup honestly and battery lasts long. Overall, very happy because it functions for what I need and has worked out in my favor in many occasions.
