Good camera system, the lack of 360 isnt the best but the software and usage of these cameras is actually really good compared to something like ring. The solar battery chergers are a must but regardless if the area is frequented a lot then the batteries dont really die.

Love the cameras, bought 3 of them about 2 months ago and now decided to buy 3 more . Love shopping at Best buy. Will definitely continue to shop more things in the future !

This was extremely easy to set up and does exactly what we needed. The ability to set the cameras to standby when you are home and outside is a great feature. Purchased on sale so considered the purchase a good value.

Needed outdoor security cameras for my rental home that I could take with me once my lease ended. These worked perfectly since they can easily be mounted/unmounted. No permanent wiring either. Only gripe is that it requires recharging the batteries every so often, but that was expected.

The cameras do a nice job when they are working. I purchased this three pack of cameras on July 2 and as of 9/1 one of the cameras has quit working, it will not power on. Tried new battery, different power cables, still will not power on. Fairly expensive cameras to have one fail within a few months.

For $250 I think there are better options out there, especially if you only need one camera. I bought this camera because it stated that it can record continuously which is exactly what I wanted as smart cameras with motion detection often lag and miss a lot of events even on the highest sensitivity settings (for example, the Ring Stick Up Camera - don’t buy it unless you’re looking for very short range motion detection). Because of this I needed a camera that was able to record continuously and allow me to rewind to a specific time/date. The Arlo Pro 5s DOES have this ability however it requires a $20 a month subscription to CVR services as well as a $100 smart hub. For some that may sound like a steal however for myself, having only one camera, it just didn’t make sense. Other issues I have with the camera is that the motion detection doesn’t pick up enough events on the standard setting with no CVR subscription so you almost HAVE to purchase CVR. The app also has very minimal motion detection settings compared to Ring. It’s also easier to navigate Ring’s app as well as invite people. The Arlo app itself is laggy. Another rather large issue is that without the spot light the night vision is terrible. It’s entirely too dark compared to the Ring camera I had previously which had no spotlight which was only $99. I can see this set up being ideal if you have multiple cameras and possibly an entire security/surveillance set up. But still for $250 I think there are better options out there for what this camera has to offer as standard features. For $250 I was pretty disappointed and this review sounds like a Ring ad but I actually bought the Arlo to replace the Ring because I didnt like it so that’s saying something…

As a longtime Arlo product owner, this was a fantastic “upgrade” deal! I own and operate 10 cameras and these IMHO are the best of them all! The quality and response is excellent.
