From box to completion of setup, it took less than 10 minutes to have our camera connected and ready in the Arlo app. The camera itself is wire-free (easily removable to charge when needed), connected to our WiFi easily, and is all-weather protected. We live in West Texas and the weather can be unpredictable, so this feature was important to the safety of our family. The Arlo Home Security System provides different options (you receive a trial) for you to enjoy the benefits of this camera even more — emergency service response, video object detection with AI, etc. As an Arlo user, I love the clarity and peace of mind received by using the system to its entirety. I feel that Arlo has stepped up our security game and provides clear live and recorded footage. I highly recommend Arlo to anyone looking to up their safety game!

The camera is nice and well built, but the supplied charge cable is indoor rated, too short and it doesn't come with a AC adapter to enable using a standard electric outlet. You have to spend 49 dollars for a 25ft cord and ac adapter if you want to charge the unit at it's outdoor location.

I had Arlo for many years and one camera (Ulra) went bad! I had done research and liked the new Swann! Well, I tried them for 3-4 weeks and no comparison! Returned the Swann and went back to Arlo! The only reason for a “4” rating is its 2K and not 4K. Still a great picture with 2K!

We love our Arlo camera. There is a slight learning curve as yiu figure out bow to set it up and adjustbthe app settings so that the notifications are accurate. Now it works perfectly! I love being able to see when packages are delivered. I was surprises by how how the microphone and speaker works. When my husband and I are bored we like to make weird animal noises as people walk by hehehe. Who knew a security camera could provide safety and entertainment. Thanks Arlo. I lovr that we didnt have to set up a doorbell as our security cam.

A great camera! We love that it's wireless, easy to use, and the picture is clear as Crystal! My only issues with it is the battery dies quicker than I'd expect and my Wi-Fi takes forever to load the camera! Over all it's really nice to use!

This was an excellent option for an existing Arlo system. The location that it needed to be placed was outside of the range of the Arlington base station. Installed on a power pole with a solar charger, it was well within reach of the wireless mesh network.

This camera has exceeded my expectations. The compatibility with smart home technology is stellar, and the wire-free setup is so hassle-free. The 2-way audio feature is pretty neat, and the 12X zoom is just wow! I love how I can live stream what's going on. Also, the motion activation is a fantastic feature. The color night vision is a game-changer for me. Such a solid piece of tech!

Love these cameras! We have other Arlo cameras as well, and they sync so easily together in the app. I love that it’s wireless, so we don’t have big wires hanging down to an outlet. It’s easy to screw on and off of its bracket if you need to take it down. Video quality is great and the app is easy to use!

I have bought this brand before and is very pleased with the security camera. Love that it has a large range to see what’s around you, it’s easy to use and comes with a trial for the program to see if you like it, 10/10 recommend.

Arlo has consistently impressed me with its performance and the robust security features it offers. However, the only drawback is that to fully unlock its potential, you must subscribe to their service package; otherwise, it functions similarly to a standard camera, albeit with superior image and video resolution but lacking motion or activity alerting features. It comes with a 30-day trial period to access all the security features it offers and with my existing subscription, adding this to my existing set-up was a no-brainer! Installation: Setting up the Arlo Pro 5S 2K was a breeze, taking less than 5 minutes for my Arlo app to detect the camera. A notable feature of the Pro 5S 2K is that it can function as a standalone (without the need for Arlo base station) camera with dual-band Wi-Fi support (2.4G and 5G). The package includes a charging cable and an outdoor mount. Features: • This camera is both wireless and weatherproof. My four-year-old outdoor Arlo cameras have endured various weather conditions and are still going strong, making the new ones an excellent choice for outdoor use. • When evaluating outdoor cameras, the first three aspects I consider are video and image clarity, resolution, and field of view, and the Pro 5S excels in all of these categories. The images are sharper, even in low light, and I can zoom in up to 12X for enhanced detail on distant objects. Purchase this 3 days ago from my Best buy. Camera was great I could connect without a hub to my Wi-Fi and everything worked great. App was a little wonky wouldn't let you scroll through videos you had to go out and then to the next video on Android. Was a little easier on iPhone where you could scroll. This morning received an error that the device was offline because of high temperature. At the time I received the error the temperature outside was 63°. I removed the camera and added it again and the same thing happened it kept recurring. Unfortunately I believe this was a defective unit and didn't want to go through the hassle of dealing with Arlo tech support so I just returned it to Best buy. Would have been great if it worked.

Don’t buy it not worth it video quality is terrible. And you gotta pay a monthly subscription. And if you want the camera to do what you wanted to do the battery dies quick less than four days.

This product requires 2.4 Network to activate these camera! Why the advertisement did not mention this issue. A good product should make easy to activate, Not ask you to special setup for this product! Gabage! Return to the shop.
