Set up was a cinch (already had the system installed so was just connecting this one camera). Camera comes ready to go, battery charged so just have to connect and put in the area you want to monitor. Easy to check your setup in the app. Had it over a month and haven't charged it yet, but admittedly it's in an area that doesn't get a lot of traffic (which is why i want to know and see those occassions when there is).

Bought two of the pro models to replace older ones that were in 'high traffic" areas, also wanted to save on battery purchases . I get about 4 -6 months out of the battery units based on a medium level setting and scheduling. I have found the newer cameras appear to be on the same schedule for recharge so far. I heard the audio wasn't good but I'm impressed as to how good it really is. Have not tried the mic/speaker feature due to not having a quality mic for it.

I put off upgrading to the pro for a while, but once I did, I decided to upgrade all the cameras on my system. Aside the the $ I'll save on batteries, the improved resolution is a huge plus.

Easy to install and good picture quality. Night vision is very acceptable. I have 9 around my property.

I always do look into all my options and we pick the Arlo cameras for our home security and we are glad we did. The picture on these cameras is awesome, they are very responsive, easy to program, always immediately available on the app on our phones, the batteries are long lasting (very easy to change) and the speaker/alarm work great!! We have 4 cameras total and are going to purchase more for our 2nd home.

I bought a total of 5 cameras. This system is perfect and the batteries are easy to recharge. The batteries have been lasting about 4-6 month before having to recharge. Great product.

Love the fact that I can check on my kids arriving home from school. I even can speak to them through the microphone to keep them on track when they start goofing off. Easy set up too

The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the motion detection take a little to activate and can miss things. Otherwise these are great cameras and the battery lasts a very long time if set to just record motion. The other nice feature is geo fencing that you can link to your phone so its not recording when you are home. It works fairly well but sometimes I have to add my phone again. The other nice feature with Arlo over the competition is the fact you can have 7 day cloud storage for free!

Added this to my 1st gen base and it was active in seconds. Picture quality is exceptional and the built in battery lasts 3-4 times longer than the 1st gen cameras. The sound quality is also flawless. We have it working on the iPhone and iPad and the conversation is crystal clear in both directions.

Great Camera. Wish the base stains had better coverage but two bars of signal are still no issue with the camera. quality is not that great at night but great in daytime light

This camera works perfectly with my older Arlo base. The only things you lose are the ability to record video to a USB drive and the alarm which are part of the Arlo Pro base. The video quality is as good as the regular Arlo camera but the motion specs are slightly better (i.e. range). I do really like being able to hear audio and that it comes with a rechargeable battery. Overall, I've been very happy with my Arlo system.

the arlo pro camera is now our 5th one to the system.the camera and program is easy to use and provides the extra added security we needed to complete our whole house system.

This is one of the best cameras and the easiest camera to set up. I have already purchased 3 and I'm looking to get one more. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone.

This is an easy setup with sound and motion sensor for recording. Great option. Rechargeable battery and solar option is also very good. Is compatible with non pro setup

Probably took longer to unbox than to setup. Took a while to decide where I wanted to locate cameras but really easy. My wife and I love it. No wires. Mobile. Great.

Sell cameras are extremely easy to setup, it just takes a couple of minutes and you're done. I like how to software makes it easy to quickly see the captured motion.

It does take good pictures, but night pictures are gray. We have two of these, one rechargeable and one regular battery. They do send signals to my cell phone when movement is discovered.

I have had these cameras for a little over a year now. They work great and I've had no issues with them. I have purchased several more to add to my system as I have been very pleased with the system. The battery life is good even in temp extremes, and the system is easy to use and best of all, has no subscription fees! I like the free week of cloud storage.

EASY TO SETUP. Works very well. iPhone app interfaces well. Batteries last a long time BASED upon how much motion detection the camera experiences. The only thing I wish was a little better is the reaction time to turn on the camera recording when motion is detected. This is adjustable but it is a trade-off between battery life and how quick it turns on and starts recording. IT IS A GOOD SYSTEM.

Added this camera to the Arlo Pro system. Great night vision. Wide angle picks up movement in a wide range. The alarm and talk function is an added bonus.
