NEEDED A 4TH CAMERA AND HAD NO PROBLEMS SETTING IT UP. JUST WHAT I NEEDED!!

Since they haven't released the update to filter out various types of motion that prevents false alarms, I just don't see any benefit to this camera over the first gen 720P Arlo Wireless camera. The recorded resolution doesn't seem to be any better and I don't have much use for the 2-way speaker, so the only real benefit could be the rechargeable battery. The only problem is that my 4 other Arlos are still have over 85% battery life remaining after 3 months of daily use. I was really hoping for a much clearer video to read license plates of the cars driving through our cul-de-sac, but that isn't the case. Since the original Arlos works so well, I can't really deduct too much for this version's not so much better performance, but for the cost, I'd settle for the original Arlo 720p camera.

Bought an Arlo starter kit and was very pleased with the performance. I decided that a second camera was needed to cover more area. I heard that the Arlo-pro also had a 2-way voice capability and it has worked out perfectly. If I had to do it over again I would definitely get the pro starter kit from the start. It just privides the best functionality and value for the price.

Works great to capture even the slightest motion. Do not recommend having any moving hanging items like chimes, etc. It minimizes the amount of false detections, but it is intended to flag motion. So it does that very well and has good night time vision.

I purchased this camera to add to the two I have had for over a year. It was as easy as the others to set up and use. This camera is located in the house and I discovered it will send an alert when sounds are detected as well as motion.

It works well. Pics are clear. This gives an added feeling of security.

Overall, I really like the ease of setting up the cameras to the base station (especially being wireless). However, one camera had a software glitch because after several months (outside of the free tech support time frame) the camera would not properly or completely update to the newest software. The camera just froze, would say it is updating but never completed the process. This caused the one camera to not work properly and continually not communicate to the base station leaving me vulnerable in this one area to not capturing images. Had to buy another separate replacement camera to fill the void of this camera and the new camera has been working fine. Again, overall the system is nice and works pretty well, but disappointed in the software issue with the one camera and lack of help from the community support website for this system. Still feel like this is a nice product and would recommend for others.

I think it's a great system because I rent. Can place the camera anywhere inside or outside with no wires. Has night vision, can take photo or video also you can set it up to record to cloud. Also you can have it send alarms to your phone or pc.

I moved my original Arlo from one spot at the front of my house to another and it had a hard time staying connected. I was so fed up that I was going to scrap Arlo and go with Ring, Canary, or Blink XT Outdoor (when available). Instead of going that route, I decided to purchase the Arlo Pro add on because it was on sale ($50 off). I was hesitant to buy because I thought it would have the same connections issue, but fortunately it didn't. The camera is much more responsive, although it does still lag from capturing movement to recording, but it's much faster than the original, and night time mode quality is much improved. A lot of the night time spots that weren't visible with the original Arlo are now lit up and showing on camera. I'm glad I upgraded. Is it worth the extra money? For me it was, especially when it went on sale.

Expanding my surveillance system and this camera is the perfect fit.

Since this cameras wireless it makes it easy to install and so does the magnet mounting bracket it comes with. However, the images of objects or blurry and should be more crisp for the amount of money you have to pay. It’s not a very sturdy camera if dropped from height and could break easily as one of mine did with in the second week of ownership. It is easy to sync up the camera with the base station.

You can literally put this camera anywhere. Good picture and sound

Got this to make a 5 camera system. 5 is the max for the Arlo free cloud-server service. Video is good. Get external secure mount if you want to point it anywhere but forward, magnetic mounts is not good enough to point up/down, behind or extreme corners.

A great wireless add on camera for my Arlo Pro security system.

I first purchased the Arlo and then the Arlo Pro. I like the features with the Pro as it has a rechargeable battery and seems to last a good period of time. The quality is great, but when you zoom in, you loose clarity.

I have the original Arlo cameras that I like, but battery life and no audio can be frustrating. This Arlo pro does a great job at fixing both issues. Battery life so far is awesome, and the audio quality is actually very good.

Purchased this camera to add to my other one. These cameras are a must have. No need to lay wiring, will setup in seconds. The hardest part of installing the camera was opening the box. Great quality and long battery life.
