I love it and the dog hates it. He is still trying to figure out where my voice is coming from

It seems working, but sometimes it doesn't send any signals.

This camera provides a great picture and can be easily moved to where you need coverage. The geofenceing feature provides for the camera to be only activated when outside the defined area, which is a great feature insuring that you don't forget to set the camera when leaving the house.

I bought this camera to be able to check on my mom who has dementia. I works much better than the first, Samsung camera I purchased. Only gave it four stars because I am still trying to figure some things out, but am glad I got it.

I bought this camera a day before a long trip. It was easy to setup and use, and the fact that the basic service is free was the deal clincher. Most of the other cameras require a monthly fee which really ads up, so keep that in mind for overall cost. I only wish the recorded clips were longer.

This is plug-in camera and it has great video. We were able to tie it in to the base of our Arlo Pro cameras and it blends in great. Just as good as the Arlo Pro as far as what it does. They are not weatherproof but because they are plug-in, you don't have a battery to recharge.

Ended up taking it back and not using. I already one I’ve used for over a year and love it.

This is an Excellent Wi-Fi Camera. It is a bit expensive but considering that you don’t have to pay monthly fee it is a great deal. Quality is excellent and works great from inside the house window looking out. No camera in the market can do that.

While there are some flaws overall the Arlo Q is a solid wireless camera. The first thing I noticed about the Arlo was the high quality of the packaging. Everything was displayed and more importantly very well secured in the box. There should be no fears of opening the box to see a unit damaged from being mishandled. Setup - Setting up the Arlo was a somewhat frustrating adventure for me, not with the device but in regards to my Netgear account. I initially tried to use the android app to setup the unit but was unable to proceed as I kept getting an error with locating my account when trying to enter my information. Fortunately I was finally able to login through my PC after resetting the account through the netgear portal. Outside of those issues I did find the app easy to navigate and use. Everything was presented in a clear and features are sufficiently explained. Features - The 2 way communication on the Arlo is probably my favorite feature of the unit. The microphone does a good job of picking up noise and the speaker is clear up to its max volume. The wide frame of view was also a notable + for the unit. A nice surprise was the length of the usb power cord. It is nice to see small things like outlet availability were considered. Preformance - Overall I have been satisified with the preformance of the ARLO Q. The camera is excellent with good image quality and a wide angle that does no distort the image. I found the motion and sound detection, once properly set to be quite adequate. I did find the initial settings a bit to sensisitve for my case but that is certainly dependant on where each person will use it. If I had one knock ont he preformance I would be the slight delay in communicating with the unit. There is some lag when refreshing the image or loading the live cam even when on the same network. The night vision and low light preformance is another feature that should not be overlooked on the unit. . Overall outside of some initial hiccups with the setup I feel that the Arlo Q is a quality camera that offers some great features, is easy to use, and provides a quality image. Easy setup, very good resolution, very good night vision. Only real downside is the wifi range isn't great but is good. Very good compliment to the arlo pro outside cameras which are excellent. Cloud service works well too.

Quality seems to be good but in order to use 24/7 monitoring you have to pay a subscription fee. Otherwise you're stuck with a feature that a wireless has. This is a waste of money if you're only going to use it for motion detection because you need to plug in for 24/7.

A Best Buy employee recommended this and he was spot on. The set-up was easy and it hasn't been a problem since. It's at our vacation home. We got an e-mail from it the other night ("audio alert"). we listened to the 15 second recording and heard thunder from a passing storm.

The camera was purchased to ensure aging parents can “be kept an eye on.” It does it perfectly, with clarity, from thousands of miles away. Don’t you just love technology that works so well with such simplicity? Gives us a peace of mind.

I use this to see who is coming in and out of my complex. Has come in handy many times.

The Arlo Q is a great security camera! I have several for the house and business. The quality is great. The only downside is the fact that there is no way to save recorded videos, unless you purchase third party software.

Works well either by itself or with an Arlo base station. It would be a bit better if it held a charge at all to be used without it needing it plugged in, but other than that it's gravy!

Arlo Q is a great camera to have around the house if you want some sort of security when ur away or just setting it up as a second eyes around the house/business when you want to keep track of things. Great working app with super easy navigation and very nice picture video.

The clarity and surveillance technology behind this model put most 1080p cameras to shame! The ability for it to monitor activity through a 2-pane glass window was a pleasant and well-received surprise. I am so pleased with the performance and features of this camera.

I was initially planning on purchasing the battery operated Arlo device so I would have the freedom of placing anywhere. After reading the reviews on battery life I went with this one and have had a great experience.

Great camera @ 1080P Follow instructions carefully for install and everything should be a breeze.
