Camera provided clear hi-def image unlighted areas. Image was good with lights out. Wide angle view is perfect

We purchased 2 of these to use for property seveillance, especially for when we're away. They are easy to set up for use with your smart phone or computer so you always have quick notification if the cameras see something. Also what's nice is that Netgear gives you 1 weeks worth of free storage per video recording incident, which typically is all you need for follow up, if necessary. You can purchase addition storage if you feel you really need it. We face our cameras out the appropiate windows & aim them for the desired front & back yard coverage. When desired, they are super easy to move & set up in another location for whatever purpose intended. So, for little expense, they work great for us. The only down side is that if you're away & your power and/or your WiFi shuts down, you're done, since you need to be back at home to resey/reprogram them again. So far, we've had no experience with that problem when gone; fingers crossed. :-)

Works as a great camera for apartments and areas where your options for traditional fixed cameras are limited. It allows you to get video or pictures upon motion with text and e-mail notification. This allows you to use the camera to see what is going on and quickly decide if you need to do something. Good for areas where security risks are average or you just want to track who is at your front door or entering your apartment when you are not there.

High quality images as would expect with full HD. All features as advertised. Covers my entire Great room.

I am very impressed by the quality of this camera and the fact that it comes with free cloud storage for 24 hours. Any motion sends an alert to your phone and you can download the image/video to your phone. Great bang for your buck. Hope they add apple homekit support and will buy many more if so

Been using camera for about 3 weeks. Camera sends an excellent quality video, both in daytime and nighttime. Day picture is in color and night picture is black and white. I was very surprised with the quality of the night video. Video in both very sharp. The only problem we had was in the setup for viewing when away from where the camera was located. Contacted Arlo support and they were very helpful. The support we received appeared to be from the United States and not from India or the Phillipines. The camera works on motion and it will pick up the motion on a TV at night if the TV is on and is within view of the camera. You can modify the notifications but the video constantly turns on and off for varying lengths of time. It saves 7 days of videos. I would recommend this camera and I think the cost for this camera makes it a best buy compared to the higher cost cameras.

Excellent picture; easy to access with my phone and easy setup.

I bought the Arlo Q for my mother, easy to setup. It is limited to indoor use. Sound and motion activates the camera. The app has been easy for my 74 year old mother to use on her phone, iPad, or computer. It was selected as a companion to the Arlo Pro 2 kit which is used for outdoor use. It hasn't been a month yet so I can't rate it higher yet.

Super easy to setup and has great picture and features! doesn't even require a base station!

i have the arlo system in my home. i have a combination of arlo pro and arlo q cameras. the q have better resolution but can not be outside in most cases. i have mounted one near the ceiling in my back porch that keeps it mostly out of the weather. just this last week we caught an intruder stealing something from our porch. the police were impressed by the quality of the image in low light. will be buying more.

The camera has great picture quality and it picks up movement and sounds very well.

The least expensive solution for surveillance. DIY installation and 1GB cloud storage at no extra charge for up to 6 cameras is more than enough for a week recording. Camera is easy to set up and the resolution is great a 720p. Resolution can go up to 1080p. Pinch and zoom on a cell phone works great. I bought it on sale at $129.99; regular price is $199.99 Very good price. Thanks Best Buy.

The Arlo Q by Netgear is an incredibly eay indoor wifi camera to set up. The Arlo app on my iPhone runs perfectly well and I can view my home from anywhere in stunningly clear HD. The motion detector does send me a lot of notifications because the camera is set up in the garage to watch our dog. Will probably need to turn off the notification or set the motion detector to a smaller area.

I needed an indoor camera that tied into my current Arlo Pro setup. The Arlo Q was perfect for what I needed. It serves as a child cam for our basement and it also ties into our smart home setup by using it's motion detection to automatically turn on the basement lights. No need to pay a monthly fee for cloud storage as Arlo gives 7 days free for up to 5 cameras. Highly recommended.
