Good value when on sale

This went on sale for $99, $40 less than the sale-priced Nest cams. It doesn’t look as nice, the software isn’t as sleek or intuitive, and the activity zones are difficult to program, but it gets the job done as a basic, no-frills way to connect and secure your home.

Everything I want in a camera

It has everything I was looking for. Always has power, no burdensome base station, and extremely intuitive and easy to use app. The base is also magnetic so it can stick to metal window frames or other metal fixtures. Highly recommend!

It allows you to record audio and video when it recognizes any sound or motion. You can view it live, or any of the recordings. It plugs directly into the wall for power, so you don't have to worry about replacing the batteries. The Arlo Q pairs perfectly with the Arlo system. Just be mindful that you will need a decent router to handle the wireless network that Arlo is creating for itself with its hub.
