Smart and easy to install

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just added this indoor camera to compliment my other camera's which include Arlo Pro2, Arlo Ultra, Simplisafe doorbell camera, and Simplisafe indoor cameras. The Arlo Q actually does not require a bridge/base station but it integrates seamlessly into my existing Arlo system.

Love this camera

I can see him, hear him and I can talk to him. It sends me notification of audio sound and movement. It has a little bit of a delay but it isnt bad and it doesnt bother me at all. I would highly recommend this camera,

Much cheaper alternatives

The most annoying part is that because it has it's own internal base station, you can't set rules that correspond to the wireless Arlo Pro cameras. Ended up returning it for more Arlo Pro's.

I wanted something to see, hear and record activity at front door (because the Ring did not work well). This works great an uploads to the cloud for review and retrieval, but you can also interact in real time. No wiring beyond plugging into AC socket at front door (yeah, someone could just unplug it, but you'll have video and audio of the person who did it, that they can't delete).
