So, I received this for Xmas to add to my 4 camera Pro kit. (the one with the base station) While the camera looks great, and the daytime image quality is superb in comparison to the Arlo Pro wireless cameras. The Arlo Q does NOT integrate with the Arlo Pro base station. So when you set it up, you have to have it as it's own entity. Essentially you have to turn it off and on seperate from the Pro cameras and it runs on a WIFI signal, not the signal from the Pro Base station. Night vision was WORSE on this camera than my Pro Wireless cams. So, I returned it and bough the new Arlo Pro 2 instead. Much happier. While it may be suited for others use, I prefer to use my cameras connected to the single base station for ease and simplicity of use. Netgear is well aware of this issue, and has done nothing in almost 2 years to correct it.

This is a great wi-fi indoor camera. Easy to install and set up. Has a great picture quality and ability to zoom in. I like the future that it detects movement and sound and it sends you alerts and emails with a 15 sec video recording.

So we got the camera for our newborn's room. It records beautifully both video and sound. However, if you log in the app to watch online and then close the app (instead of signing out), you won't be to connect to the camera again for quite sometimes. I wish they fix this problem soon

It's ok. None of these cameras are perfect. Pictures are clear and night vision is good. I like that it stores in the cloud for free even though it's only for 7 days. Doesn't pick up motion as sensitive as I'd like but still ok.

I just picked up one of these Arlo Q camera's yesterday. I'll Start with the positives. So far, it has been working well. It is very responsive and the camera will pretty much immediately notify you with a push notification if either someone walks in front of it or it hears a sound when it is armed. This is wonderful as the camera is very sensitive and good about recording a 15 second clip if it detects any activity. Another plus was the setup. For the most part, it went smoothly, with the only major hiccup being me not knowing how to disarm the camera while setting it up. It probably took 20 different clips of me while I was mounting and installing the hardware, but I have to admit that once I figured out how to disarm the camera by fiddling with the app for a few minutes this problem was fixed. One negative I noticed was also its responsiveness. As I said earlier the camera was very responsive to sound and movement, but in some ways this can be a problem. I armed it when I went to bed, and it kept notifying me of sounds it picked up on because we live in an apartment and several people make noise throughout the night. I eventually had to turn off my phone in order to sleep peacefully without being bothered by Arlo, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that because it was still armed all night, it had recorded any sound or movement it detected while I was sleeping and was all ready to view in the morning even though I had turned off my phone. The only other negative I noticed about it is that the live feed quality is rather poor for some reason even when set to 1080P quality and always tends to lag about 3-5 seconds behind real time movement. The recording video is fine though in quality and this really shouldn't be an issue in a robbery because you will still be notified immediately that someone is in your house that shouldn't be and watch their every movement with just a few seconds of lag time. Overall this is a solid DIY camera for people wanting reliable simple setup and security without paying absorbant monitoring fees. I would highly recommend it as being one of the best in terms of usefulness and quality + responsiveness on the market right now.

I had one of these cameras in another place and was impressed with the night vision, the ability to talk to people you see on the camera, and the 15 second snippets and the ability to watch the scene live. The only thing that would make this perfect if if they had a warning when motion is detected. The clarity of the picture is amazing.

I've been using it for a little over a month now and I like it. I have a clear color picture. I like the free cloud space and that I can download and share images as needed. I'm able to see all around the front of my house which was the purpose of me buying the product.

Easy setup. Takes a great video. Wide viewing angle. Very good remote app. Adequate free cloud storage. Automatically restarts and connects to the internet after a power failure. Does not work when power goes out.

I bought this security camera as an upgrade to my D-Link Security Cameras. They were only SD Video. Why didn't I stick with D-Link? Well I couldn't find them in any of the proffessional reviews. So I had to make a change. The Arlo Camera while not perfect offered excellent performance for the price and I was able to do a pricematch to make it a great choice for me. I looked at the Nest Camera since I own a Nest Thermostat and love it, but the Nest Camera doesn't give you the free 7 day video Cloud save the the Arlo does. The quality of the video is really good at 1080p with option to lower the quality to suit one's taste. Overall I am very happy with this purchase and happy I was able to buy it here at BestBuy with a pricematch.

Quick & easy solution for a single camera need. I wanted to at least have a cam pointed at the inside of my front door so this was perfect. With motion & sound detection it picks up the door opening, someone knocking, when the dog goes to the door, etc...

Reason why it got 4 stars It's because it has an excellent resolution and it has a free online cloud. But the only thing was that only one person could view the camera at a time on the application.

I've had the camera for about a month now & the only complaint so far is sometimes the camera loses connection to the router and you can't access it through the app. I've had to reboot it once already because it wouldnt connect & my router and wi-fi connection wasnt the issue. Another complaint is sometimes the video image goes black or turns into different colors like its static. these situations have happened once in a month but it was my first home security camera purchase so i can't compare to others. The audio and motion sense works great tho! I'm happy with my purchase :)

Video quality is good. Audio is ok. It's easy to use and setup but a bit on the expensive side. Also no Smartthings integration yet which is disappointing.

I love this camera. Has motion detection as well as zone detection. Free cloud storage for short clips of activity. Time to buy another one. Crystal clear picture.

I bought this camera to add an additional camera to the arlo system I purchased a year ago. Have had no problems with arlo, so I bought the additional camera. Great picture quality, motion sensor works great and notifications are received on my cell phone immediately. Highly recommend this product.

This was the easiest WiFi camera I've ever set up. The image quality is excellent, and I'm impressed with the night vision. The user interface on the app and the website are also very nicely done.

video quality is great. the alerts are very convient as to what set the sensor off(motion or audio) blacklight vision is awesome. I defintley feel a lot safer while at work.
