Went from pro 2 to these. Great improvement in quality and battery life. Also now back compatible with older base stations which helped as I only needed a few cameras upgraded.

I bought a set of 4 and they were so great I went back and bought a add on camera to put on the inside of my home. The add on cameras a easy to sync to the base.

Aside from the price of the camera itself and the accessories, the Arlo Ultra is not compatible with the existing base station, battery, charger for Arlo Pro. Feel the company is trying to milk you as much from your pocket as possible.

I've had arlo systems for 4 years now and just upgraded to ultra. I'm very impressed.

High quality video even at night. Very easy to store the videos on the USB drives attached to the Arlo base station.

This camera is much improved. Great video quality and the ability to track movement is awesome.

Needed the extra camera to be connected to my home base. Easy to install and sync with my existing system.

The camera itself is fine although listed as 4k the resolution does not appear as sharp as my Nest camera. But here is the deal breaker. The Arlo service is unusable. You can not scrub through video and/or even view a specific date time of footage as the service just hangs. I thought the new service/cameras would be better (we tried Arlo before and then went to Nest). Honestly I think its worse now. So, headed back to Nest where at least the service is workable and you can scrub through video in real time. Just wish Nest had the remote power/battery/solar option (why we tried Arlo again). Stay away from this until they truly fix the service which I honestly believe will ever happen.

This 4K Arlo camera has the worst picture quality. My Arlo Pro 2 camera was so much better. The picture was like everything was white washed. Not good for a security camera. Did the firmware update and did not help. Had to return the camera. At this time I can’t recommend this camera

I bought the 4K Ultra to replace Arlo 2. The quality is extremely good and the sound is super clear

Bought the ARLO Ultra for a perimeter security of my house. Have 5 cameras covering each other and they work as intended. Now, I can check my house from anywhere I am and have the capability of talking, listening, videotape, rewind and safe everything that happens around my house. Can't asked more for the money.

Great picture quality. Good job with 4K intro. Needs work on battery Life. Empty video clips becoming "nightmarish" problem. Nighttime "Purplish" Haze on one of my six cameras unresolved. Wasps triggering multiple 12 second video recordings. There is no owners manual, so I've spent countless man hours learning the intricacies of Ultra system.

Have six of them around my house great security cameras videos etc.
