Q: Can this work as a independent standalone wireless wifi camera without the base?
A: No. The base is required to communicate with the camera.
Q: Can I use an Arlo solar panel to keep the battery charged?
A: If you have perfect lighting and camera has very little activity it might be possible The one I bought was a waste of money because with moderate activity and very good sunlight it could not keep camera charged
Q: Will this work in the RV using Verizon mivi, do i need anything else to use this in the rv
A: Depends on how well your download speed is on your mivi it takes atleast 10mb download speed to work properly
A: It reaches probably more then 50% farther
Q: How many cameras does this have ?
A: One camera. However I didn’t receive all of the mounting hardware. Please check all of the items in the box before you leave. It’s been a month of waiting after three phone calls and two emails. And I still have not received the items I need to mount the camera.
Q: Will this work decently to capture outdoors from inside through a window?
A: Yes, it will work through a window and walls. However the further you place the camera from the base, the lower the signal. I have one about 30 feet and through one wall and then one window and it works fine and has 2 of 3 bars. The one nearest the base, about 10 feet and no walls or window, has 3 bars. The manufacture says with no walls or windows you can go 300 feet, but once you add walls, (windows don't affect them much), then you loose signal, as line of sight is strongest.
Q: Will this work decently to capture outdoors from inside through a window?
A: During daylight it would work. During the night it would capture reflections from light in the room. Window screens would also impact video quality.
