The clarity is perfect day and night! Does auto tracking on or off, does photo shots someone walking by and video the hub connects all the cameras together and the app is easy to use! I can pick up the cat in the dark and a deer! Also the last one is the floodlight camera it’s only 2 k but still awesome pictures at night too! The first ones are 4 k but only on 2 k but the picture looks like 4K! Thanks Arlo awesome product!

The Ultra camera is a big step up from the older models. This camera streams and records video in 4K. It's pricey, but it's packed with features including color night vision, motion tracking, auto zooming, and intelligent motion detection. I’m now replacing my older Arlo cameras with the Ultra. It’s very good for security and constant alerts to monitor your property no matter where you are.

This was the eighth camera in the Arlo family that I’ve purchased. Four pros and four ultras. Picture quality is great. I’m running them off batteries and the battery life is OK but not super Still for the price I don’t need a security service. I’m very happy with the brand and the item

The camera itself is great and provides excellent results. However, if adding this to an existing Arlo setup the results come at a cost. First, the camera is expensive compared to competitors. The camera also requires a subscription to function fully so keep that in mind when choosing to add to your setup.

It is Easy to set up! This is a camera only. You will require to purchase Arlo Hub to connect the camera. There is 10sec Time rag to see on the screen once it detect the motion. Connection to Amazon Echo show is very slow. Sometime it failed to connect. Expensive but it worked well for my house.

I added this camera to go with my existing Arlo dustpans I like the spotlight that goes with it. I have around 7 Arlo cameras and they work well and I get alerts on my phone. Sometimes there’s a delay with the alerts but the quality of the video is great and I would definitely recommend.

Three months ago purchased the Pro 3 camera's and recently when I wanted to add another camera I decided to upgrade to the Ultra. Connecting to the network was maybe 5 minutes, I had an extra battery fully charged ready to go and positioning to my home was maybe another 10 minutes with the magnetic attachment. As far as overall quality, the video is very clear and I was impressed with how far the audio was picking up sound. I have no suggestions for set up, and quality. I would like the connection and notifications to be quicker, I have experienced slightly faster with other systems. For me, the biggest drawback is not being able to directly attach to the external USB drive that I attached, having to disconnect the drive and connect to a laptop just does not seem efficient. You should be able to directly access the stored drive straight through the app. Otherwise, no early complaints.

Great picture quality when it’s 2k and up. A nice revamp voice communication feature from what the pro 2 had. Spotlight is convenient. Solid battery life. My only issue is that you have to pay for the elite service in order to get 4K picture quality.

Great quality very reliable The only thing I would say is that the app itself when connecting to the cameras is very slow and there’s a really big lag and I have the updated version of iOS and google an android everything. They really need to improve the connection between app and the cameras if they’re going to charge the prices that they are the quality is great but the lag is disgusting and when there is the lag it’s pixelated on the app.

Typically never write reviews but what the heck! I've owned the 4-camera Arlo Ultra 4K system for about 1-year now. I've added a 5th camera and 1-new base station about six months ago, and now adding this 6th camera to the setup. Overall I'm pretty pleased with the setup and use but these are not "install and forget" systems. You often have to maintenance them (I rotate/charge batteries) about ever 2-months max, and clean the cameras as well. We've often had false alarms at night when the cameras are "active" due to spiders and what not. The software is not super-intuitive in my opinion but Arlo is continually making minor improvements. The use of the 2-way audio is at a loss for me. It simply doesn't work well. Also, the white casing has begun to "yellow" in color after one year of use. My last camera I ordered black simply because of this. Viewing quality of the camera is "just OK" in my opinion. We have some mounted above the garage doors as this is one of my main area's of concern. When an event triggers, you can see the person in the image, but not to the clarity level that I could turn over to the authorities and they could easily identify someone. Perhaps for those mounting lower to ground may have a better advantage? Again, it's a decent setup... yet pricey and I definitely recommend getting extra batteries and the charging cradle so that you can easily maintenance them on a good day. I have a system down in which I clean them, swap batteries. When it comes to the last camera, I usually have to wait a few hours before assembling because one of the former batteries is still on the charger. In retrospect, if you have the means of getting a total hardwired system, this may work better. Especially on a larger home or commercial property.

As a camera it works great...but Arlo as a company is nickle-and-diming its customers to death. What used to be free now costs $15/month. It is to the point that I can not recommend Arlo anymore. There are cheaper alternatives that give nearly as good results.

Works great. However, bought this because one camera crapped out (ingested water). We have the four camera system. Been busy, haven't taken time to take care of broken one yet. Learned that the system will support a fifth camera along with the doorbell camera.

I'm a positive review type of guy and use Arlo at my (2) homes and gave my sister a setup with the Q. At both homes I use a combination of plug-in Qs and outdoor cameras that are the older models that require photo batteries which I recharge. Impressed with Ultra HD video and decided to upgrage with everything installed by Geek Squad which I always do; (5) cameras + solar panels. The guys synced showed me still shots of all 5 cameras and then worked on smart lights on unrelated service. So I never got more than (3) cameras streaming at once and they had week signal but great picture. I run (1GBS) with new Eeros after Orbi wasn't fast enough for me. The years old Arlo router covers everywhere easily buried at the front of my house but the new Ultra out in the open hallway with 20' ceilings can't do a strong signal. So the 2 camera that would never stream would sync but couldn't connect even when right next to router. The 3 cameras up front made some nice video, but then would cycle offline every few minutes while the router flashed amber which means signal is weak. I loved Arlo products and was excited and now Best Buy had to refund everything and told me they had been hearing about problems with this model. It wasn't the large house as cameras moved next to router just couldn't handle more than 3 much less my Qs that i never even tried to add. I'm putting all the old Arlo stuff at tenant house and give to family and buying RING so i can have a reliable wireless product. A 4K picture doesn't mean much when the cameras can't work and the newest router sucks compared to old one. I thought this was Netgear...

Love the camera and all it's features, like zoom and pan. Trouble is, it needs charging like every other day. Arlo needs to develop a better battery for a camera with all this capability. Why they haven't, is a mystery to me.
