I love the army of two games but this particular one is so far from the new game when it comes to graphics, customization of gear, camera angles, and the game is really glitchy. theres one part in the game where we do a step jump over a gate and I can get over but how is the other player supposed to get over? and as soon as I jump over a frag comes my way before I have time to react and get somewhere that I wont die..my boyfriend and I are stuck on that part right now..its frustrating!

If your into co-op you need to play this game. It has very intense action, a story that keeps you guessing and the most important part it's just plain fun. The only draw back, the partner moral choices. When you and a friend get through a few you'll totally understand especially if you have two different play styles lol.

A great game to play. Story is good but a little short. Other than the action and dialog is spot on.

It's hard to beat the first one. They did a good job though. Some new features but all and all its more like part 2 of the first game.

I played the first one and was definetily one of my top five games. i was excited when i found out that 40th day would be released in march. It has not let me down. My friend and I are a little over half way done with the campaign and have enjoyed every minute of it. Some improvments I have noticed are, able to sprint, you can change your weapon alot easier, graphics, and cut scenes. At times during the game you are given choices to make. Your choice will have an impact on your progress further on in the game. This game is great.

I really enjoyed playing this game. The ability to play good / evil is a nice twist that extends the gameplay life out a little bit. One thing that really bothered me about the game were the long cut scenes that were not skippable. Some of the scenes come at difficult stages of the game. If you or your partner dies the game reloads to the last stage and you have to watch the entire cut scene again. Although the scenes are well done, after the 5th time watching the same one, it is more than enough. The other minor complaint was that I did something noobish and was playing second player a few times and wondering why I was not advancing. Each time it seemed that my profile reset. I realized I was not signed in so I was basically playing as Guest. The game should prompt you to pick a profile or continue without one when you choose another player. Overall though, the game has been a lot of fun and I plan to continue to play it some more.

The Game was alot better than the first one everything has been improved Partner AI, Enemy AI I mean i actually saw the enemy doing what you and your partner do I.E. Pulling wounded to safety, giving each other boosts up, healing them. Which made the game amazing to see the enemies weren't stupid. The Length of the game is short it's only a 6 hour game honestly unless you go and collect all the things the want you to which is pointless honestly why would you collect radios during war? or cats?.. Unlike an earlier review I've had no problem with multiplayer at all ever. Pretty much if you liked the first one this is a buy or atleast a rental seeing as it improved the first one greatly.

    Two Is Better Than One

Army Of Two The 40th Day takes place in Shanghai. After finishing up a job in Shanghai all hell breaks loose for Salem and Rios,Always cracking wise, but do show remorse at times, but find others ways to offend. Each chapter has moments called "moral choices" but these come somewhere out of leftfield. The game is about 5-6 hours long with a 7 chapter campaign, fighting through office buildings,a zoo, hospital under siege, but there's really not much variety when it comes to the combat, you'll fight the same random enemies throughout.Back is the aggro meter where the teammate with the least attention can flank the enemy, issue a fake surrender,or play dead. The boss battles are not really all that unique, the second half of the game becomes a little repetitive.Weapon customization is deep, giving options for stocks, scopes, and barrels. But it isn't permanetly saved when you return to battle. If you spend 10 minutes customizing your gun and die before the next checkpoint, you'll have to do it all over again. You have the option to choose from a variety of mask or create your own online.Multiplayer is set for 10 player, you have your standard Co-op deathmatch, and Control mode with two teams trying to capture points on the map and much more.So grab a buddy and hit the streets.

Army of Two: The 40th Day improves quite a bit over the first one. But sadly should not be much more than a fun weekend rental. This time around you and your partner are in Shanghai, and for some reason the whole city is under attack. Here is some of the problem with the game, you are never truly sure why. All you know is you have to kill a lot of guys and get out. the length of the game is another, on normal difficulty you will brease through it in five hours at the most. There is some fun to have playing co-op with a friend and online, but in the end this game is not worth $60.00. $20.00 maybe but that's it, wouldn't pay more than that.

I really enjoyed the first Army of Two and could not wait to get the sequal. I did enjoy the game but it was missing the parachuting, air guitar celebrations, and others. I know they wanted to give you more options and some were cool, like the rock, paper, scissors, but I was left not as satisfied as the first. Good Game but not as good as the first.

Bought this game with low expectaions based on my experience of the first game. However once me and my friend started playing it instantly became so much more. We played on hard mode to start with which gives the players the maxium challenge when playing Co-Op mode. Don't do normal as the fights and bosses will be to easy a challenge. Game had a great gameplay feel with all various types of custimization being icing on the cake. You won't be dissapointed if you buy this game so long as you play it with a friend.
