Do your homework before buying
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In trying to get a grip on unnecessary expenses I decided to buy a modem & return $10/month one to WOW. The Arris got decent or better customer reviews so I bought. Before installing I looked further at tech reviews & found the warning against buying a product labeled “with Intel” - can’t remember what issue was but without opening returned Arris, bought Motorola.

False advertising
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item states it has two 1gb ports but once you read the back it states you only get 686mbps speeds. Stay away from this one. Returning and buying a nicer version.

Cool modem, great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Impressed with its capabilities, it was a bit difficult to set up. I was renting a modem from xfinity, so I had to jump through loops to get it connected, which is probably more xfinity a fault. But now that’s it’s hooked up I able to hook up all my tech with different speeds at different ranges. My streaming and download speeds increased also. I just wish it was easier to set up.

Plenty good Router!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like small size and lower price point. . .reaches every place I need and delivers to four or five devices and probably more without a problem . . . Set-up went well. The only things I miss from the big Comcast rented Arris I took back to Comcast are a reset button and place to activate signal for devices to auto find wifi after outage. . .I have learned to use Home and other options if needed when Internet is interrupted. . .Googling for info

Working fine so far.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It has dual, separate bands, one 2.4 gigahertz & one 5 gigahertz. If your device is able to use the faster speed, it will recognize it & it will show up as an option to connect to. If your device is only able to use the slower speed, that's the only one that will be an option. You can choose which one you want to connect to if both are available. That's nice because the 2.4 gig works better over distances & through walls, although it's slower. It wasn't as easy to set up as some, but it wasn't difficult. It's also nice to just have one device to worry about instead of separate modem & router. It has a guest password that allows guests to use the wifi without them having the power to change any settings.

Easy setup, modem/router combo at great price!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I switched my folks over to cable internet to replace the overpriced DSL service they were already using. This modem/router combo meets all their needs perfectly, wi-fi range was acceptable for their single-story home and we easily got the advertised speeds of their new cable internet service while connected over the 5G wi-fi. At the $95 price I paid, I'm absolutely satisfied with this purchase.

Reliable, Easy setup
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These routers are very easy to use. Setup took no time at all. No buttons to push and hold for connection while attempting to type in a pass code, the router does all the work. I have had it for about a year, no problems to date. It also automatically reconnects in the event of a power outage. Very reliable.

Great performance, easy setup
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy setup. Delivers great range and speed. Better performance than the Xfinity modem I was paying a monthly fee for.

Solid choice for Xfinity 400Mbps and Condos
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this as a replacement for the xfinity provided rental modem. Works really well for my 1300 square-foot condo and the modem and wi-fi performance is strong. I have the 400mbps down and 20 mbps up plan with Xfinity and I regularly see 460mbps download and 24 mbps upload speeds. I actually downgraded from the 600 mbps Xfinity plan but when I had that plan, this router was able to do 525-540 mbps down, which is still very great. Setup is easy and the unit itself is compact and reliable. I actually found this on sale at best buy for 20 or so cheaper so could not have been a better deal, unless it was free. Very pleased with the little guy. Buy it if you have a small apartment, condo, or townhome.

Working just fine
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product was fairly easy to set-up, and we are fairly technically challenged so that was good. We've only had a few weeks, but it seems to be working well, and much better than the old ones I had..oh yeah, it is a nice size, so doesn't take up much room. Our place is small, so cannot speak for a larger square footage..but it was great for our smaller home.

Dr Paul
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If one is not renting a router from Xfinity, there are only certain routers that are approved to use by Xfinity. this is one and it was an easy setup because of Arris and Xfinity. It has a good range, witha strong signal and no problems in use.

Great combo!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with this device. It was easy to setup and use. I recently cut the cord with ATT internet and cable, and chose streaming. With this device now I no longer pay the modem/router rental fee each month. It is also quite compact and has a nice design, not taking much space at all. Price was very reasonable too. Overall, I am quite happy with this purchase.

Great buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems to be working as advertised. We have just basic internet with Xfinity, 50mbps download, 10mbps upload. But we stream movies and serf the internet just fine with out any buffering delay. range seems to be pretty good too since we have it in a central location. Simple setup, no complaints so far after 2 months or so.

Good Modem Wi-Fi Router
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fit my needs. Quick, simple setup and offers decent signal throughout a 1700+ sq ft home, both on the main level and the basement. Great unit to get internet setup quickly in a pinch.

A great little machine
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought I had horrible internet, turns out I don’t. It was the age of my modem/router. I have a small <1000sqft house with 5 devices max running simultaneously and this was the perfect find for us. If you have more, they make more powerful devices. I would recommend at least looking at them. I can’t say enough for how my service has improved since purchasing this. It does absolutely work on spectrum, I messaged from my account and gave them the serial number they asked for and that was all. 5 minutes up and running for a person who is not technologically inclined.

Arris modem-router combo.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product was easy to set up, it is small and does not take up a lot of room, the Arris tech people are easy to reach, very helpful when I had a problem. I am not very tech savvy and the tech was very patient to explain things to me. The product does everything I expected of it.

Way better than xfinity or wow modem
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this because the xfinity one I had the white tower looking one kept over heating and not working, 3 replacements and still horrible . Then I got fed up and switched to WOW . lol, wow had the same issue but I was 1 and done with them and purchased my own . It's been over 1 month and the first time in a couple years I haven't had any interruptions or issues . The cable company told me I have a faster internet connection than this one allows but I've played Xbox and streamed movies while having our phone's connected to wifi with zero issues . Best $100 I ever spent .
