Previously, I had a Motorola Surfboard that was about 5 years old. We were having issues getting a strong signal in our back deck, so I decided to get a new Orbi Router. However, I wanted to make sure the signal coming in was strong, so decided to upgrade the modem too. I don't think this new modem makes a difference because the signal from Comcast is not the best. It is the same speed as before. But, the modem works as advertised, and I am sure that if our signal were better, we would get even better speed

Easy setup and much faster than the modem from My cable company.

I was moving and decided to stop renting from Comcast so I thought I would give this a try. I went to Comcast office to arrange the transfer of service and gave them the device information. When I got to my new place and connect the device, I followed the instructions that came up in my browser and everything worked form the get go. I have had no problems since I got connected.

This is a great modem. Easy install. This is the best modem I have owned.

I bought this router on the recomidation from one of your sales associat she told me she has the same one at home and that I would love it. I was looking to up date my own so I took her up on it. and I love it. my TWC program is 50 mbps and when tested with their equipment i only got about 40 after I installed this I whent from 40 to 70 mbps I could not believe it.

Love the speed of this products. Links well with the Netgear routers.

I purchased this modem as I didn't want to get charged any more rental fees from my cable company. Everything works great so far and it supports up to 1 gig speeds which means I won't have to buy a faster modem each time I increase Internet speeds for awhile. Kind of wish it came in black but it's not that big of a deal. All in all its been worth the money so far.

This Cable Modem works as advertised. I swapped this one for an older modem that had reached EOL. When I installed the last one, I was on the phone with Comcast for awhile getting it registered. With this model, I made the connections, after a few minutes, it connected with Comcast. I put in my account number, and with in a minutes I was connected and on-line!

The modem worked great for 15 days. Which in BestBuy world is the best product because it’s one day out of their return policy.. So I had to deal with Arris on their warranty. Actually, Arris was very helpful and easy to deal with. I got a full replacement in two weeks. In the interim, I bought another. This time I bought the $4 BestBuy protection. I would recommend getting this because you get full replacement for a year from them. Good insurance for a few dollars.

Speed is great and always working. Strong continuous connection.

So far so good, I've been using this for 3 weeks now because I had to replace a faulty NETGEAR Nighthawk Cable Modem CM1200 I bought somewhere else. I currently use it for Spectrum 200 Mb/s, and when I run test it gives me about 230 Mb/s. So yes I'm very happy with it.

I have a SB6183 16 channel down/4 channel up cable modem already. I was having problems staying connected and it points to either the provisioning from Crapcast or the modem. So I went to Bestbuy.com ordered and went later and picked up in store this modem. Now it would have been great if it would have worked out, as cable is like the old Starnet/10base2 networks, which I used to do many many years ago, think IBM world from the 89's. So more channels down mean less chance of congestion on higher bandwidths. Well Comcast could not provision the modem because of SNR loss. If your not a engineer to understand high frequency vs line loss,etc etc then this means nothing to you. My cable lines are like 30 years old running in the townhouse community so noise is going to be there. It just wouldn't work, but I am sure it is a great modem, BUT this goes back to the days of when ADSL came in out. The closer you are to the CO the faster the speed, well in cable, the closer you are to the amplifier in your area, the less chance you will get line noise. Don't get fooled by someone talking technical and you buy something you don't need like a HDMI cable, because a $6 one works just as good as a $60 one, so always read everything online before spending your money.

I bought this Modem because my old one wasn’t fast enough . I have a 600 megabit connection. This Modem has actually been faster than my line speed it has been clocked at over 700 megabits on my line with a direct connection to my computer . It says it will do 1 gigabyte download .

Great modem for Gigabit Internet access. Easy to set up (you may have to contact your ISP to register the MAC address). I have used this particular model for a year, now, and recently purchased an identical replacement recently when the old modem was fried by lightning.
