Easy setup and config. Performance seems fine, but short of a side by side compare with another modem, hard to know how well it performs. Comcast network compatible (I was determined not to pay Comcast for a modem). My smartphone connects from ~30 feet away, thru walls. Overall a good modem.

I bought this unit with the hope of improving speed and also improving connectivity in a good size house with a basement. The main computer and surrounding rooms are handled well with speed improvement. The outlying areas of the house are still suffering mediocre signal strength.

I was using a separate separate modem/router + an extra router in order to cover my entire house. I got tired of having to switch between wifi in order to print / get extra reach. I replaced both with this router, and now it reaches all the way to my backyard. It is also compatible with the 300 mb/s that TWC offers.

Time Warner ISP, so got the combo cable modem wifi router ac1900 top of the line and it worked great for a week, then the 5g band disappeared and choked on 12 wifi connected devices. Not sure if it was a lemon or possibly Time Warner trying to do a firmware update? Bought the comparable Netgear and it's been a solid performer for a month so far.

If your looking for a reliable router modem with plenty of capability this will do the job. Wasn't sure I'd want this kind of setup because if one of the components goes out you have to replace everything. So far it works flawlessly, but I've only had it for several weeks. I'll follow up if anything changes.

The modem/router has two bands 2ghz and 5ghz and you select in your device which one you want to connect to. The big problem I have with this router is that 2 'old' laptops bought in 2012 don't connect to the internet. I have tried everything but nothing works, it shows that they're connected to the network but not to the internet. If I'm lucky I get 5 minutes of internet and then gone for an hour. I have to mention that I have 2 laptops, one bought in 2015 and the other in 2016, a macbook(2016), 3 iPads (one bought in 2012), 2 iphones 6, and a galaxy 6, and all these devices work great with this modem/router.

Works great. Have not had to reset it at all. Wish it was a little cheaper. But you get what you pay for.

Overall this is a good, solid router. The speed is great and there are no issues with the router dropping service. The only thing is the range, which could be a little better but that's not a big problem if you live in a house that is less than 2000 square feet.

We spoke with the salesperson in the store who was very knowledgeable and recommended this router. We just started streaming television, our son uses Xbox a lot, and we have multiple devices and phones. The router has met all our needs and has been much more reliable and faster than our previous router.

This router/modem was very easy to activate but there are times where it appears to provide weak signal. There have even been times where I am sitting 10 feet from it and my devices (laptop as well as Ipad) and the server drops. All that said, I would recommend it.

I recently got Spectrum Cable Internet and it is buy far the best decision I made. This cable modem is awesomeand simple. The Spectrum cable technician installed my cable internet service in a matter of minutes and hooking up my wireless printers and computers was a snap. Very affordable and easy!

I have been watching this product for some time. Finally went into the store to make the buy and noticed it was $20 less online. The store honored the online price!! Excellent product, 2 bands so I can control who is on either. Finally a cable/wifi router that reaches all the areas of my house!

this was a upgrade for extending my wifi, it worked great for about 1 month then had to contact support that had me disable an advance setting, after that its been working great. I can sit in my garage and get video to my devices as before I needed and extender
