Totally awesome before this purchase I had a xfinity modem/router I was getting between 300/400gbps and now I'm getting 600gbps wireless and ethernet connected between 850/915gbps with a gigabit package from xfinity.

This modem worked extremely well vs my ISP provided modem.

Works well with my Xfinity network. Fast, turnkey installation. Great speed. May not have the signal strength for a large home without the use of extenders. Would go with WIFI6 mesh system, now.

Nice to have a Device that has wifi & Modem in one.

Please be smart and purchase a device with total tech coverage instead if payjng a monthly payment to some company for thier own device they will just take after 3-5 years you been paying for like 5 of the same item when you could just own. This one here is PERFECT!!!!!

I reduced my Xfinity bill from $215 to $70 by cutting the cord! I should have purchased this modem years ago. I have been renting a modem from Xfinity. The clarity and color of the screen is outstanding. Buy this product, and you’ll save yourself some money!

Well this cable mode router definitely works great my wife uses it for extra stuff and i dont have to rent one from my current subscribers

Works as expected. Very content. Range isn’t amazing but it’s good.

Purchased this modem to try to consolidate to a single unit from a separate modem and router. We both work from home and I am allowed to use a Wi-Fi connection for work. When connecting this unit, my speed went from an average of 100Mbps down to 5-6Mbps, and this unit is advertised as covering up to 2800 sq. ft, and our house is less than 2000 sq. ft. Needless to say, we returned it and went back to our original setup. Not recommended at all.

Had this for over a year. Don’t regret it one bit. Never had a problem with this device and rhe speed is ridiculous for a modem/router combo.

Not worth the mandatory 1 star. This router is poorly made and does not work as intended. We were recommended this product by a store salesman, never again. After this purchase I’ll never trust a best buy recommendation again. MBPS is supplied at 470 and the best it puts out on the rare occasion it works is 50mbps

The range, network consistency, and easy of installation make this an easy recommendation for anyone searching for a new Modem/Router combo. I have used it for over 2 years with virtually no issues. Great product!

Setup was easy. First, I connected it to my computer with the included ethernet cable. I called up my cable company, got the signal, then I got the Arris Surfboard app to change the SSID and password. Prior to this purchase, I was renting the modem from my cable company and using my own Netgear Nighthawk router. Needing more desk space, combining them was a no brainer for me. Both the modem and router functions work great. The modem is DOCSIS 3.1 which was recommended to me by my cable company (Service Electric). I have internet throughout the whole house, as well as my outside porch. I was worried since it was priced lower than others, that I would have network issues. No issues, so far. Being a Best Buy Total Member, I get free extended warranty coverage, so there is no risk. This was a good buy for me. I would recommend this Arris Cable Modem / Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router.

I had my older Arris router/modem set up in my garage/man-Cave because that’s where I game and I wanted to have a direct connection for my Xbox. I have 3 kids in the house, all with devices that are streaming things non stop. I was getting so much lag and disconnect on my living room smart TV when we tried to stream a Netflix or Prime movie as a family. It seemed I was having too much trouble getting good signal all the way from the garage for everything in the house that was running from WiFi. I tried a signal booster with unsatisfying results. I upgraded to this bad boy and I no longer have trouble streaming from WiFi for devices in the house (2200 square ft). I like the dual band because some things like my door bell cam operate on 2.4 ghz. Most everything else I’m running off 5 ghz. This is a Powerful modem/router that allows all my devices to run off my 300mbs internet plan, no problems. I also like the app in which I can deactivate certain devices from WiFi, this is great to get kids to do homework and chores before unlocking WiFi without it effecting my devices.
