I bought this item a little over a month ago. Setup wasn’t too bad and the tech people at Sparklight were very helpful. The speed has been slow to rocket but after having Sparklight over to check things out it was okay on our end, the biggest pi’s the three iPads, three iPhones, and internet TV. Also, we went up to their 300 plan and now it works great.

Arris modem is simple and easy to set up and very good signal and my network is very stable. this is my 2nd time buy this Arris router.

very fast modem/router combo. I get internet cut offs here and there but can’t tell if it’s the modem or the service provider, which is Cox so most likely it’s NOT the modem lol. Other than that, it was easy to set up and get running.

Pricier than I'd like but is very fast. Used so I wouldn't have to rent xfinity combo. When activating the tech on the phone remarked how fast it was. This is also 3.1 so it is future proof. My son is a big gamer and has had no problems. Yet!

Great cable modem for the price! No one else was even close in price compared to the features you get on this thing! Great value! Works really well, except for one thing: Setting Up PARENT CONTROL!!! The App they have to help with that is crap, too. Thus my 4-star review. Otherwise, it would be a 5 or even a 6!!!

Working perfect with 3 computers, 1 Tv, 2 tablets, 3 phones, etc. Very strong signal and fast streaming.

I bought this modem for replace my Xfinity gateway because I was getting tired of the monthly rental fees. This modem is reasonably priced, and will pay for itself in 14 months compared to the cable service rental fee. The internet speeds are very good, and I can play Xbox online using Wi-Fi with good quality and little dropout. I find myself restarting this modem once every 4-6 weeks to disconnect it from the multitude of devices that connect to it, which is a substantial improvement from once weekly with the Xfinity gateway. I haven’t been able to use my fax machine despite trying both telephony ports on the back and not doing anything different with my 4-in-1 printer. I called the Geek Squad, who just deleted and reinstalled my printer software onto my computer they fixed nothing. I’m sure it’s something simple that will get my fax machine working, but until I figure that out, I can’t give it 5 stars.

I am so thrilled with this modem/router. The one issued by my internet company wasn’t strong enough to handle the subscribed speed of 1gig. Constantly going in and out. I was hesitant to spend this much money but it’s some of the best money I’ve spent. The setup is quick and the app is very useful in managing my home WiFi! If you are thinking about a new modem / router this is an excellent choice.

This mighty device is perfect for our tech needs! Our speeds and service are both fast and dependable for our house of 4. Even when family is staying with us it lives up to the test!

I am very happy with this router + modem combo. It handles higher speed home broadband great, and also the WiFi is very consistent, fast, and reliable. I’ve had several WiFi routers in the past that needed occasional reboot from time to time, and this one I’ve not needed to do that (yet). Little pricey but works excellent.

Great modem for fast speeds. Easy set up and never drops

A little difficult to set up but with some sensational help from a Geek Squad Technician and an Arris Technician they set it up perfectly. Also, can't go wrong for the price and would recommend this product but make sure you get the combo modem + router if that's what you need because they do sell a separate modem w/o router.

We have a 400Mbps plan, with this Modem we are seeing speeds over 289Mbps with 2 Smart TV’s, a video game system, 3 Cell phones, 1 Tablet , 2 laptops, wireless Laser Printer, 4 Home speakers, this one is a must get purchase that is well worth every dollar.

I was having issues with the rented modem/router for Xfinity internet and had to keep resetting it to do what I needed. I got fed up and did a little research. I decided to buy the Arris Surfboard Modem/Router instead. Everything is working great now! I have not tried a speed test because I have not had any slow speeds. I should have done this in the beginning.

This is a great budget style gateway modem/router combo. Hits very high speeds no problem way easier to set up. Has a large range at least 250 ft depending on materials and other routers.

Modem is perfect size and sleek looking and fits nicely not taking up much room and super fast and good range on WiFi as well!

I bought this on a recommendation from COX, it is a very nice dual router and modem meant for use with the Panoramic Wi-Fi package, but I have the mid range package and it is a step up for sure from the two units I had, my speed tests are off the charts now, and I’m very happy. I’m also ready for 5G and Panoramic when the time is right.
