This product works great. I would highly recommend it. We nought it so that we don’t have to pay Verizon for renting their modem / router! This is a great item to have and avoid having to pay Verizon for modem/ router rental fees!

This modem is great with wifi and provides closer speeds to what i pay for compared to comcast moden was rented for 8 years at 16 bucks a month so its well worth it to own ypur own. Plus with total tech protection you have no worries. If your on the fence the set up is simple only a power cord and a coaxial cable and comcast will activate with about 15 minutes of your time. Thabk me later

Good product but a little tricking setting it up but got it done

Very easy to setup. Interaction with tech support was excellent. Performance vs. our ISP-provided cable modem/WiFi router is like night and day. BB provided this device at a good value.

Arris surfboard modem router work better than breezeline equipment. my speed from up and no buffering

It worked with Xfinity (we returned the rental modem). As expected it took a phone call and a good amount of time on that call to get it all set up, but once we did, it worked fine. We did return it though, because while we were switching to this modem, Xfinity made an offer for an upgrade and a free modem for less than we've been paying. Go figure. I would not hesitate to buy this again.

Had it for 4 months. Pleased. I updated from a 10 year old model. Just keeping up with newer tech. Easy setup. Runs as expected.

It is an definite update to my old router. It does have a slight tendency to lose connection.

I owned an Arris gateway several years ago that worked very well for me. I made the mistake of replacing it with a Netgear gateway, and was never happy with it. I experienced a lot of drops and always thought it was Xfinity fault. I started to experience several drop outs and had Xfinity out and they changed the wire all the way from the street to my modem and I still experienced dropped connections. Xfinity came back and tested the connection and showed me all the errors on my gateway. They suggested I get a new gateway. I'm happy to report I went back to Arris and have had a solid connection ever since. It was easy to setup. The biggest hassle was having Xfinity change it in their system. I highly recommend this gateway.

Seems to work better than the modem/router we were renting from our ISP at a much lower cost.

Amazing modem router combo. Easy to setup, brings out the best in my internet service. Besides the speeds i think the most impressive part is the wifi range is far longer than any I've ever seen. I can get half way down the street and still have signal. My only slight complaint is the built-in in software is a little lacking doesn't give as much control as id like and isn't the best to navigate. Otherwise I would of gave it 5 stars

Solid Router/Modem combo. Pros: fast, looks nice, compatible with major isp. Cons: app is not very intuitive. Great option on sale.

This thing is just ok. The documentation is poor, the login information to set up your router is in very tiny print at the bottom of a tiny pamphlet, amongst other irrelevant information. I had to call the help desk and they had to point it out to me. Maybe it's just Xfinity, but my devices tell me they are disconnected from the internet more than I like, which requires a power-restart. The hard-wire connection is fine. My macbook pro doesn't like talking to this thing, though that's most likely because it insists on the highest security level. I'm going to buy a netgear or TP-link and see how that router works hard-wired into this cable modem...

The product works great and the modem router combo is good value. Setting up with provider, Xfinity, was very easy. The smartphone app is needed to set up the device. I was able to do so and rename my network and password, but the app has technical issues that doesn’t allow some of its features to work. Its okay as the device otherwise functions great!
