Beats paying a rental fee from Xfinity. Works great!

Nice router. Better alternative then paying 15$ to xfinity.

Xfinity advertised this model as compatible. First two weeks it worked great. Then it stopped working - after two calls with xfinity and having a technician come out it still doesn’t work properly. The internet speeds when using a direct line ethernet cord starts out high then drops to nothing. Mobile devices connected to the wi-fi have slow speeds and no speeds - both spouse and i turn off the wifi on our phones while home daily so we can have internet access. Macbook air - i tether to my phone. Video calls drop out in the middle if connected to wifi and have to use cellular network on all devices. After 2 weeks cant return to best buy and the support from company is nonexistent. If you have xfinity as your internet provider DO NOT BUY.

This is one of the worst routers I’ve ever owned. I only bought it to replace my 10 year old router and I wish I hadn’t. The old router was much more reliable than this junk. I have to restart the G34 every morning out of fear that the connection will drop in the middle of important work, and it still drops anyway! Save your money and get something else.

Great modem works really good and save money on Xfinity not paying monthly.

This constantly drops out and has to be rebooted. If you search this model, you will see that many people have the same problem. This should be removed from the market as it clearly has design flaw. Dont buy.

When connect phone to WiFi. Phone calls would not come in. Didn’t start having this problem til I got this router. And stopped after I replaced this router

It works, but it freezes up my Internet, kind of disappointed. I think they’re just making these things cheaper and cheaper so they can still charge an arm and leg for something.

Setup was challenging due to setup URL not being secure (HTTPS). Then the wifi connections would not stay connected.

I returned it wasn’t what I needed I can’t speak on it.

Please check many reviews before buying. Everyone has the same issue of having to restart pretty much every. Single. Day. :) Drops connection a lot

Within 2 years the internet began cutting in and out losing connection ever 5 minutes. Would have to unplug router/modem, it would work for a day or 2 and then break again
