Occasional sound skips

Had no problem with the Comcast unit, just wanted to save $10 per month. This unit has a tendency to skip sound for a second at random times. Sets right where Comcast unit sat.

Does not work with phone on triple play package

It has no RJ-11 jack for the phone. Arris does not have any AC modems that work with the phone service. I have not found any other brands either.

To hard to set up

Can Not Use Comcast Triple Play

Wifi Worked Internet did not.

Does not work at a distance advertised

It does not work on the other side of the house where my smart TV is located. The box says it is good for 450'. The distance between the router and the TV is about 60'. I can not set up my TV to the internet.

Broken

Took it out of the box and it rattled. Something was broken inside, didn't even take it out of the plastic sleeve. Took it back to exchange and was informed they didn't have one, in fact none of the stores had one.

Bad for Xfinity

My recommendation would be to check with your provider before purchasing a modem that "says" it works with you cable company.
