Easy setup. Good speed on the 5Ghz side, but very much lacking in the 2.5Ghz bands. I would consider my internet speeds with this gateway inconsistent at best. When it's screaming it is awesome. I've measured 250Mbps before, but have also had the speed drop to <10Mbps which is very frustrating. The "parental controls" are an absolute joke and are non-existent. Really all I want is the ability to create a schedule when devices are and aren't allowed to connect and that cannot be done with the router firmware. This is a HUGE area in need of improvement. I'm considering going back to a separate modem/router so I can have more control over my router functions as this thing is just far too limiting.

Another great Arris product!!! The best 2 in one(modem and router) for the price. Works with my xfinity internet service very good without any problem and it allows me to save 10$ on modem rental which I don't have to pay anymore. Easy to set up and to deal with. I'm happy that I choose it while shopping for modem/router.

This thing ROCKS! Just dumped UVerse Internet (Have DirecTV, Too.) Got WOW internet, 100mb variety. Speedtest never drops below 129mb. Excellent router, as well. Has 4-port 1gb switch, also. Very easy to set up. Lots of security options. Perfect for my needs. Also saves $10.00 per month for cable modem rental.

I bought this to replace an older modem/router that I was currently using. Since I started using this router I can access my internet from more distant locations and it is faster. It was very easy to connect up and was recognized on line by my internet provider (comcast) so no phone call to customer service was needed.

i bought this router because my cable company said my old router was not allowing me the upload/download speed I was paying for. So far, this router gives me the speeds I pay for and then some. It has never gone down and i have not had to reboot it even once. Truly a remarkable router

I was very annoyed with the previous setup that I had. I would never come close to the max speed that my isp provided and my connection kept dropping. This product is amazing! My download speed is 10 times higher than what I was receiving and my connection has never dropped.

Super fast cable modem & router. I got it on sale to go with my new WOW internet service. 100 MBPS tested out at 127 MBPS on installation. Only problem I had was with an incompatibility between ARRIS (not just this cable modem) and HP Printers (more than one) where you have to disable IPv6 and use with only IPv4. If you leave IPv6 enabled the HP LaserJet printer won't setup and operate and throws off a 49 error to restart. This was the case with both the ARRIS 6782 (old cable modem) and 7580 (new cable modem) and HP MFP M225 & HP MFP M227 printers. No documentation to warn you - took hours of googling and looking at HP and ARRIS support sites to figure out.

Easy to set up for XFINITY. Router is fast and very reliable.

This is a fantastic router/modem. It is extremely reliable and fast. We are using it with Xfinity. We had to contact Arris customer service because I didn't know how to change the network name and they were extremely helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this modem.

I got it because my area is suppose to be getting Google Fiber later. Needed a route that can handle the speeds. I love the 2.4g and 5g channels. Also very simple to set up. Can plug and go. And if you want set it up, the link is simple and has many easy features.

I had an older surfboard before that had trouble reaching my entire apartment. I ended up buying this one on sale and it works extremely well. I hovers around 30 Mbps download speed and that's only because My Comcast plan maxes out at 30.

Prior to this use my Cox internet would reset daily, and then search endless trying to reconnect. Some days it would do this 10+ times, as I ran a program to ping a website every 10 seconds to test the drops. After getting this, almost now 2 years, I've have very little issue...but it's starting to give. Getting almost two years out of a modem for me though is a vast improvement and I've never been happier. Prior I had tried all the best netgear, dlink, etc (tops brands most expensive models) and this was the only one that did everything well.

this router is lightning fast. I have comcast internet and my previous router was getting 35 gbs and with this router im getting a solid 87gbs. nothing different on my comcast account. The wifi reach is a bit questionable when the router is on second floor. but still a great router.

Supports many users and is very easy to set up. Works wonderfully with Verizon

Finally decided to own my router. Best move so far to avoid $10 a month and start earning this after 18mos or so. Its future proof upto 1.7Gbps and dual band using mostly 5G benefits mobile devices.

Tons of features and great dual band signals. Works well with Xfinity/Comcast. Also, significantly​ bigger than some of Arris' previous models, but not bad considering it's still an all-in-one unit.
