I am a senior citizen, so in the last 30 Years I have bought many different brands of modems. By far this model has been great. I have never had to unplug this model to reboot. My last modem had to be rebooted at least 3 times a month. I give this ARRIS model 5 stars!

These days that we are changing provider frequently, it is better to have your own Modem and Router. I asked the technicians at Best Buy and this product was their recommendation. Installation is easy and works without any complicated set up. Ah! and it is nice, it has a really nice design.

Lemme tell y'all hoe this thing moves faster than a locomotive on a 5 hour energy. Best candle modem ever couple of with the right internet speed from your provider (I have 300MBPS) and the right router and TAKE OFF

For my needs I had to have a good modem that was compatible with Charter Communications ISP. I was tired of paying the monthly rental fee. The Arris was on the approved list and had several tiers to choose from.

Works as needed. I wish I could turn off the units lights due to it lights up my whole room at night disturbing my sleep. I don't feel comfortable covering up the unit due to it's electronic and it needs air to keep cool.

Got tired of paying TWC to rent their box, now I have the freedom to use it with any routers of my choosing without any set back. easy to setup and use. Received great speed and small form factor is a plus compare to what I have received from TWC.

From all the modems available out the fiber speed network this is by far the fastest ,once you connect it to the network you'll experience better speeds

Bought on sale a Motom/router. Mistake. 1 room connection only. Return for just a Motom and got a Router. Worth extra dollars. Work great can go all over and get connected.

I have had this modem for at least six months or more. I bought it to replace my SB6141 which I now use for my wireless phones. This modem is faster with my internet for my computer.

Bought the modem to save 10.00 a month on my xfinity bill. Item looks good and fast! Easy to install and a lot smaller than the bulky slow comcast modem.

The reason I chose this modem was, first, because our service provider is Comcast and it is on their list of approved modems. Second, after reading technical reviews and having conversations with other people who are knowledgeable about this type of technology, this modem was the clear choice. And finally, this is the model that we have consistently used over the years and it has served us well. And as a side note; I appreciate that the data activity indicator light on this specific model does not constantly blink. Blinking lights are OK if you like to pretend that you are working on the bridge of the Enterprise. But they are simply annoying when you are trying to concentrate and get some work done.

We recently installed some security systems in and around our home and needed to replace our old router and modem to accommodate faster internet speed. The Arris-Surfboard modem was very reasonably priced and has been doing a great job for us.
