Assassin's Creed Odyssey is a game which takes place 400 years before the events of Assassin's Creed Origins, during the time of the Peloponnesian War in Greece in 431 BCE. The game plays just like Origins down to the bone, main difference is that you can now choose between a male or a female protagonist. The map feels significantly larger than Origins, though some parts of the map are essentially empty. The main gripe I have is the slew of micro-transactions present in the game (much more than were present in Origins.) But for 2018 this should come as expected. Still the game is fun, and I can see myself playing through this for the next month. I got both the XBOX One and PS4 versions, and this game is simply gorgeous on the XBOX One X.

This game is huge and I love the fact that I can spend a good amount of time with it. Excellent graphics, smooth rendering and great story. I’m always a fan of this series and this one is probably their best! Really liked the steel book version. This game is a keeper.

If you've played AC Origins and liked it, then you'll like this. It's basically Origins with a dash of Black Flag in it. Still some Ubisoft jankiness here and there, and the story kind of falls flat here and there but overall a very solid game. Plenty to do.

There were quite a few new features right off the bat that I like. I liked that you had special abilities that could be accessed via a combo button press. I also really enjoyed that the parry skill is built in to your starter skills and that there is actually an indication when to parry an enemy. The fighting style is still the same as the last game though which isnt terrible it just takes some practice. The spartan kick is my favorite so far on the abilities. The game is amazing on the environment and the amount of colors that are available to notice. I only have an Xbox One S console with a 1080 resolution TV, but I would imagine that this looks amazing with the Xbox One X and a decent 4k TV.

This game is packed with many missions and side quest if you like to play games for hours this is the game for you. It packed with over 100+ of gaming from Sailing on the seas to fighting monsters on land and conquering your enemies all over the world!

This game is amazing. The graphics are beautiful. I have sunken already 40 hours into this game and I'm nowhere close to beating the game. The world is massive and detailed. History is accurate and the mythology is amazing.

If you enjoyed Assassin's Creed Origins you will LOVE this game. It takes all the good from Origins and makes it even better. Ubisoft is supporting this game very well by delivering free and paid dlc every week.

In my opinion this is the best game in the franchise. And with the deluxe version you get the season pass which is well worth it because Ubisoft unloads a lot of dlc post release! 100% recommend!

I have to say that I love the way they have taken the series from a single story to more of an RPG style. Everything you do can change the story, which makes this game playable for multiple times.

This game is literally the best game I have ever played. The world is expansive and game play is literally amazing!!! The Steel Book is fit for a collectors dream library addition!!! :)

Fun game with a good story. Just like past Assassin’s Creed games, there is lots to do. You can actually choose how you want to complete missions, which can change the story.

This iteration takes a step away from stealth of the core of the namesake of the franchise right away. The game focused less on trailing or sneaky kills & shifted more along the lines of how you want to approach the kill. To better illustrate because of the RPG tree aligned in its format you essentially can pour your points into your playstyle. Bow kills are your style fill that tree up, Swords with either poison or fire meaning more hand to hand fill up that tree. Essentially you create the style which is a good thing but I would enjoy still being more of an assassin to the core. Honestly you don't even have a cloaked hood or anything that reveals stealth. The two siblings are ok the male is a notch above annoying in terms of overacted while the sister is more subtle flows better. The true gem in this is the CULTIST tree which is sorta of the ILLUMINATI in Greece. You will hunt down these members down for Legendary & Exotic gear. Beautiful settings as well as a return to naval combat which is good. Last note if you play the game in the explorative mode it's very immersive experience instead of a standard marker to say go here You are given clues & basically figure it out unassisted which creates more natural unexpected encounters. A solid game they are taking a year break & with the RPG being better & introducing dialogue choices this franchise has a lot in their favor.

I’m aoninoressed at how big this game is. The graphics are unbelievable and Greece looks so real. The story is top notch and the mechanics are way bette than AC Origins.

Stunning graphics as this game looks amazing in 4k with HDR. Compelling storyline, very lengthy. I did the main quests and maybe 60-65% of the sidequests and it took me 110 hours to finish the game. Really like the AC series but this was hands down my favorite. Combat is enhanced, more fluid. Love all the upgrades you can choose from 3 categories: hunter, warrior or assassin. I felt the ending was a bit lacking, but the overall story did an excellent job of blending historical fact with the AC storyline. Definitely worth buying, not a game you can rent unless you plan on playing it non-stop for 2 weeks.

Super cool steelbook, with new game and all available Dlc, and then u get ASC 3 remastered, with ASC(something), sorry remastered. But great value n pkg.

I could not put this game down, the sense of exploration, finding these random tiny things makes this game great. My favorite assassin's creed game to date!

I love this game. It is so worth the money. There is so much do it. I already have 50hrs of game play into it and I have just finished half the story.

I spent more than 70 hours playing and I can not wait for the DLC to start hitting! Make sure to play as Kass, its like playing a wonder woman game!

This game is probably the best looking game on current consoles. DLCs are also very much worth the extra cost.

The new assassins creed has such a cool setting. Great gameplay and gr as phics and a great story makes this the best creed yet.
