Beautiful Graphics, nice vibrant colors. Lots to do alongside of the main story. There is a lot of grinding to increase levels but its a fun game so it doesnt feel like a chore. Beat all the main story lines and major events in about 70 hours. Still tons to do but I think I’m done for now. Ready for AC Valhalla

I can't say enough good about this game. It looks beautiful, plays amazing, great story, and IT IS A HUGE GAME!!!! There's two games that I have felt have been worth their weight in gold this generation. The 1st is The witcher 3. The 2nd is This Assassin's Creed game. There literally is over a hundred hours of gameplay and it is great gameplay in this game. If you've been waiting to get this, dont wait any longer.

I love this game. It's beautiful, funny, serious, and just so fun to play. It's one of my favorite games. Kassandra is the best. They do such a great job at getting you to care about side characters even. It's impossible to tell you all the things I have liked about this game - it's delighted me again and again. And it's so fun to explore and so beautiful. So many of the areas are so different, it doesn't get boring exploring. I do have to explain why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. But even though these are very specific issues I have and I want to talk about them, note that I still gave it 4 stars. It's still a great game and one of my favorites. The 4 stars I gave it contain a multitude of things I love about it. The scenery, the dialogue, Kassandra's growth as a character, the Greek mythology intertwined, the small side missions that turn into something big or hilarious or touching...all of that is so GOOD. That said, my issues with it: - if Kassandra is the cannon choice, why is Alexios on the cover? - We finally get a cannon woman solo main character and you give the option to choose a man. Sigh. - the world is too big. As is an issue with AC games in general, some of it gets repetitive and there isn't really much reward for doing it all (though like the idiot I am I did it all anyway) - again like in other AC games, some of the missions just sort of fade away without resolution or have silly conclusions I wish I could change. Or there are sad things I wish I could have prevented in some way. Or what you think you're selecting when you select an option turns out to be not what you thought it would be. - all the random NPCs speak Greek. Don't get me wrong, Greek is beautiful and I appreciated learning some words through the dialogue. But if your character is supposed to know Greek, why couldn't I understand what side characters were saying? This was frustrating. - didn't enjoy the ship stuff - after a certain point the battles stop making sense given the plot, but oh well.

After swearing off the Assassins Creed series since Black Flag, I finally took the plunge again and bought Odyssey and Origin. I'm not really sure why, the price, the good reviews and word of mouth. Yes, I'd say both of those convinced me. But still this is still more of the same, just with slight changes, and slight quality of life performance changes to make the game smoother. Recommended if you love Assassins Creed, if you're like me and have bought almost all of them and still wonder why you're buying them, then unless you have to buy it or get it for dirt cheap, borrow it or stay away.

I’ve never played an AC game before so I didn’t know what to expect. This gem did not disappoint. Outstanding story, graphics, gameplay, RPG mechanics- this game has it all. I wish I could go back and experience it for the first time again. I put over 100hours in and I still have a number of things to do. I could easily sink another 20 hours into it.

I purchased this last year for XBOX. I played this game consecutively for over a year. Massive world. Great combat. There is always something to do. Excellent graphics with attention to detail. There are occasional glitches with NPCs. There are add-on packs available. A lot of thought went into making this game. Greek mythology is a safe setting that can have unlimited stories for expansions.

This game is awesome, not too difficult and not extremely easy(depending on the difficulty you have it on). The story line is great and there is a lot for you to do and accomplish in the story. I love the graphics of this game, although I had heard that some of the other games had better ones. Honestly I am extremely happy with my purchase and will probably go and get another one after I am done with this one.

This games gives you options to play as male/female lead character. The backdrop of the game and story was very well setup. The improved game mechanics weapon choices and the different skills you can learn are very good. The hardest part for me was fighting the legendary boar. You’d definitely enjoy this open world game.

This is amazing game not just for AC fans, but for everyone who loves adventures and open world games. The map is HUGE! Underwater world, legendary creatures, beautiful graphics. This game is definitely masterpiece, especially with the option to manage the new abilities and skills ur character gaining.

Been a fan of AC games since beginning. This has been an incredible story (chose Kassandra). Also recommend the season pass too as those 2 expansions have 3 stories each and add about another 50-60 hours playing time. Not much i didnt like but feel this is a top 3 in AC games. (Black flag was amazing too).

Assassin's Creed Odyssey takes the franchise in an all new direction. Bringing a breath of fresh air like no other. Want to travel the Mediterranean Sea with your squad? You got it. Want to hunt mythical creatures? Look no further. It's an amazing experience, and one I highly recommend.

Its a really good game and i think the best assassins creed so far. What i like about it is that its massive and constantly rewarding you so it makes you feel like you are always progressing everytime you play. Its a cool story line and a lot of characters you encounter have interesting back story as well as just being a fun character. Its basically a better version of origins and it does have uts quirks here and there but its deff worth getting. I gave it a 4 because i really like this game but its not a masterpiece.

A continuation of what started Origins

If Assassins Creed Odyssey's story happens before Origins, it's a continuation as far as the new system mechanic that were implemented in Origins. It plays pretty much the same, but with a bigger and more colorful world. What was added to this game are option dialogues, but with consequences minimal whatever you choose. A possibility for romance, but almost laughable as you sleep with the person and are done with her/him until the next one. And 2 heroes option, a male and female, you pick the brother or the sister, but again it doesn't matter story wise who you pick, just pick your favorite actor, which Cassandra seems to be so I started with her. But even if the new gameplay mechanic are not adding much, if you liked AC Origins you will most likely like this one, they are a ton of side quests and many are worth doing, but many must be done to lvl up and be able to handle the story mission, the world is fun to explore and each time you arrive to a new island it feels slightly different. Basically it's a good exploration game, and improve what Origins offered. Finishing all the side quest and main story mission will take you over 100 hours, so if you like it, it will keep you busy for a long time.

I find it unlikely this is anyone's first assassins creed game (those who liked previous entries will buy this one, too) but if it is, the new setting and open world make it a good place to jump in while the "m" rating means don't buy it for Little Jimmy. It is a big action game with a great deal of variety, and a whole lot of fun to play. The story isn't going to win any awards but isn't trying to. If you want to rack up a huge body count and unleash a deadly kick like the movie 300, few can do it better.

Love this game! The map is huge so do keep in mind that you might be playing for a while if you want to complete everything but despite the size, I find it highly entertaining. I've been playing as Kassandra and she's definitely one of my favorite video game characters ever!

The gameplay and world are great. Exploration is fun, combat is fun, the story is entertaining. There's very little that you can truly tear the game down for. That being said the leveling mechanic, while it makes sense from certain gameplay perspectives, is strange in this series. It introduces strange behavior into a game that you can otherwise play in a straight-forward manner. It also slows the game at times when you find something you want to do but have to wait until a higher level to succeed at.

Fallout needs to take a look at this title. This is how an Open World RPG is done correctly. Amazing Story, Characters, Locations. Smooth game play mechanics. Easy to understand skill tree and upgrade menu. A new Assassin’s game going in the right direction.
