Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the engaging gameplay and compelling storyline of Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Many appreciate the game's setting and the addition of the grappling hook, enhancing the open-world experience. However, some players noted issues with controls and repetitive side missions. While some bugs were reported, many felt that these were less prevalent than in previous versions.

After last years frustrating AC:Unity, this game is the shot in the arm the series needed. Great setting and great characters add to an overall great game. If you were burned by Unity, give this a shot!

Assassins creed games are starting to get old but this one ramps up a little bit more modern than Unity. I still love the history that' intertwined with the game and I'll continue to be a fan for life

2nd Best AC in My Opinion

My favorite AC is Black Flag but this is a very close second. Everyone has different opinions of course. I love the dynamic between the twins (the main characters), it's a nice addition over the usual single main character. It's also one of my favorite time periods, the industrial age London is gorgeous and alive. There could have been a little more difference between the twins but not a huge complaint since to me that allows the use of the character you prefer the most anyways. Miss the sea battles but again this isn't Black Flag. The addition of the griphook/zipline mechanic is also very awesome. Makes traversing the map that much more quicker and smooth. Anyway that's my two cents.

This is the second AC game that I have played. The first being Black Flag and I skipped Revelations and played this game. I was worried about not knowing the story line or history with skipping a series. But this game had a little bit of history from the past other games and its own story is very good. I liked how you can play to different characters with their own set of skills. Great game.

Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you know what AC Syndicate is going play like. It's better than Unity by far. It feels "safer" than Unity which really tried to push the envelope, but safe isn't bad. It's perfectly good and doesn't have the endless sea of activities to do. The activities that exist all serve a purpose and are fun things to do on the side. The economy is still broken in favor of the player, which makes me wonder why anyone would buy in game currency from Ubisoft. The story so far focuses on the past and I've yet to really encounter a modern day set of activities as of Sequence 5. It really does look like Ubisoft was trying to keep things focused in Syndicate.

We have AC3 (WiiU), Black Flag (WiiU), Unity (PS4), and now Syndicate (PS4). AC3 has some real issues, Black Flag is awesome, Unity failed to deliver. Syndicate is now the favorite of the bunch. Some of the annoying issues have been fixed. It is still obviously a Ubisoft product, which is both good and bad, but visually this game is wonderful. Steampunk assassins - what more could you want? Plus, my daughter likes that one of the main characters is an appropriately dressed (!) super smart and tough female. The whole family reports that it is more fun than any of the other ACs we have and worth paying full price. Definitely deserves to be on any gamer's Xmas list!

Assassin's Creed Syndicate sits alongside Assassin's Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Black Flag as one of the best games in the franchise. A bit of a return to form after the disappointment of Unity.

If you're a 1st time player it can take some time to get use to, but there are a lot of missions that will keep you busy for hours on end. Can play as Jacob or Evie which is nice. You also can use your gang members on almost any mission which helps significantly. You can upgrade your gang just like you can upgrade your skills and weapons, and you can upgrade to get money really fast. I've had the game for a week and have gotten sick of it yet. They added a GTA aspect to the game which makes it really fun, and it is really easy and fast to get around the city compared to past games where you had to run everywhere if you couldn't fast travel to a location.

Not much improvement on game play aspect compared to previous AC games, most things are the same old (except the graple made climbing much easier than previous games), but on the frame rate and bugs, it's much, much better than the Unity. 10 hours into the game so far, only glitched on a side quest, which was fixed as i left the area and went back. Though unless you are a fan of AC franchise, it's not a top option at this time of the year, when COD, Fallout, NFS, Tomb raider, Halo and other big titles around, but I definitely recommend anyone who's interested to give it a try when it's on sale, it's still a very fun game to play.

Awesome setting in London, the fact you can switch between two assassins is awesome, the combat is tweaked up a notch from previous games making you more viscous then ever

Love the story, and the quest lines. The ps4 controls have become clunky and not always as smooth/seamless as previous games in the series but overall great game.

Best Creed game since Ezio. The grappling hook is a fun addition to the series which saves time from having to scale up each building again for the 100th time.

To be honest, when I first started playing Syndicate, I really was annoyed with it. The microtransactions are pretty in-your-face and not a whole lot has changed in the Assassin's Creed formula. But the more I play it, the more I like it. It's a well put-together game (aside from some rampant bugs) and is a demonstration of the fact that the AC formula is still fun, if not a bit tired. I love the characters, the grapnel launcher is a lot of fun but doesn't seem to ruin the climbing part of the game, and it's just a fun game. If you're a fan of the series, I'd say go for it.
