Longtime fan here, loved the classic games, and the recent ones. Still working on the story and exploring the world. I wasn’t convinced during the pre-launch but the more I play, the more it grows on me. The story is getting very interesting and some of the gameplay tweaks are welcome. I would say if you liked Origins and were meh on Odyssey, Valhalla is more Origins. If you loved both, you can’t go wrong. There have been some bugs though. But dualsense features are improving

A huge open world game to explore where you can play for a good few hours during the quarantine reminds me of the show Norsemen on Netflix and loads really fast on the ps5 and looks great in 4k you can even build your own viking settlement 4 stars because of the bugs

Beautiful. What a stunning game. I've been playing for days and still haven't gotten to the 4th main mission in the game. There is just so much to do. I love it. Just look at some of the photos people are taking. Its incredible. And the steelbook is really cool. I've gotten a steelbook for red dead, and some other games. This is by far the coolest cover art. I love the case. It needs to be on display somewhere

If you’re a assassins creed fan definitely recommend this game. Lots to do and tons of dlc content. I played through this game thoroughly, received the platinum and had fun doing so. The characters and story don’t disappoint. If you like Vikings and mythology this games for you

PS5 is amazing. The load times are incredibly fast and game play is smooth. The steel book is very nice is and the game is incredibly fun to play.

The best Assassin's Creed to come out yet. Tons of things to do and ways to do it allow this game to expand on a lot of different side mission that were introduced in the previous games. Playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla on the PS5 is literally the best way to play since it takes advantage of the quick load times of the SSD. You can play as the male or female versions of the main character or let the game decide/switch you as it needs.

If you liked the last two AC games you will most likely like this one as well. The combat has changed a little bit to where it is a little slower and you can’t button mash due to the new stamina bar. I think that makes the combat more rewarding. The new level up skill tree is kind of a bummer since you can’t see the skills you are leveling up to. If you are looking for a game that has a lot of content this is it. You can spend hours exploring and due to the new map icons you never really know what you’re going to get when you go to a icon that is marked on the game. It’s a great game so far and with all the future updates And dlc I’m sure they will adjust things here and there to improve.

Wow! I can't even begin to start with this review because I'm still playing it. Anyways, this is my review for the game so far (65 hours in). The story is long but it is filled with moments of drama, tension and excitement. I never once get bored of it nor am I tired of the arcs because each arc is different. It keeps the game fresh with new challenges and new allies from different territories. The voice acting is also very good. I am currently using the female Eivor and I must say, she is becoming the best protagonist in the series. There is never a dull moment with Eivor as everything is always changing. The world gets tougher as you get stronger and that dynamic makes it very fresh. Overall, this is the best next gen game I've played yet. The visuals are amazing, the story is never dull, the gameplay is fast pace and the game is taking me a long time to finish but that's why I love it so much. I highly recommend this game because it will take up all your time until another major release... Like say, Cyberpunk?

Another excellent addition to the AC franchise and a very fun time period to explore. While it can be a bit buggy (Have you played a Ubi game?) the gameplay and story make up for anything wrong.

4.5 out of 5 - I am a total AC fan but this one, like the others, miss the mark on attention to detail. Interaction is hit or miss; after killing targets, talking or while collecting the interaction button disappears and takes a while to come back, taking extra time. Swimming underwater I got stuck on something that I could not see and died.

Pretty great game, love the awesome steel book. It’s super long and and can get a bit repetitive but there’s a good story behind it

Fun game. I am a huge fan of the AC series and this is a good one. The graphics on the PS5 are amazing and the world is breathtaking! Highly recommend if you like the series this is probably imo the best one so far! Good story and huge map.

The new Assassin’s Creed games have taken more of an RPG approach to the gameplay in both its presentation and mechanics; the combat has improved dramatically since its inception, and of course one cannot deny the game looks downright gorgeous. This specific version of the game is tailor-made for the PlayStation 5 and its powerful hardware, and as a bonus, it comes with the season pass that serves to expand your enjoyment with new content down the line. Definitely cop this game if you like Norse mythology, action-adventure games, or long journeys with lots to do.

Visually stunning, viking open world adventure in the style of the previous entries in the Assassin's Creed franchise.

It’s a good game. I still like ACO story better but Valhalla will keep you busy and long enough for your money.

Awesome game especially on the new PS5 console. The access and speed of the game is really fast.

They’ve done it again. Must have for any and all asscreed fans out there. Similar enough for you to be comfortable w it if you’ve played others in the series (and although dynamic, the controls catch on if this is your first assassins creed game) but different enough to be very engaging and fun. I have about a 46 second attention span, and it’s held mine for hours now, so there’s the proof!
