Very fun game. Runs good on the PS5 maintains good frame rate fast loading, plenty of stuff to do. Like the witcher-esq weapon an armor runes, the combat feels great, different slightly than odessey an origins I do like the skill & ability system. I miss the eagle being able to spot everything but I do feel that was slightly unfair but I also like that they went back to their roots with the eagle vision marking enemies an things like that. Love the story, the characters, I also like how I get a black flag vibe as well. Noticeable bugs but haven't run into very many the ones I have were kinda funny, no game crashing/game breaking bugs so far. Definitely couldn't wait for this era(Vikings) I think I wanted it after origins but glad to get it on the new console generation.

Assassin's Creed (2007) is fantastic, the real sense of detail, mood and tone is well presented and constructed in this fabulous nostalgic and revolutionary video game.
As the first instalment in the never-ending Assassin's Creed Video Game Series, Assassin's Creed (2007) is a well executed introduction into it's world and atmosphere. The game has an exceptional and fine story that is full of twists, surprises and truly shocking moments. The story really has the player on the edge of their seats and keeps you coming back for more. The Gameplay is beyond anything and any other game in 2007, the combat is strong, well built and plays out smoothly without any bugs or issues. The parkour when running and jumping from rooftop to rooftop is really good and revolutionary for a game made in 2007. The parkour is swift and feels so smooth and relaxed when playing. The game's controls aren't that good and could do with some improvement and sharpening up. The Characters you meet in all the cities and places you come across are phenomenal and breath taking, real accuracy and care has been taken to ensure the best possible experience is imminent in the game. Assassin's Creed's Protagonist Altaïr Ibn-LaʼAhad is a gentle and focused main character and is perfect for this game. The game's music and soundtrack is decent and really emphasises on the detail and tone this game has set and achieved. Assassin's Creed is full of beaming features and incredible aspects and just seems to be a clearly superb game to play no matter what. Most of the missions are very repetitive which is a problem and there isn't much to do at all when the game and story is finished. The Graphics on the other hand are incredible and push your computer to the limits, it's no lie, as the first ever entry to the Assassin's Creed Series, this game has set the best possible foundation for it to grow and develop and fully flourish.
Assassin's Creed (2007) might have it's problems but will honestly go down as Top 50 Best Games of all time without a doubt. The Environment, Characters, Gameplay, almost everything about this game shines bright and makes it a pure success in it's year, 2007, and still now. You need to play this game, never mind it's series.

What a good game. This game looks great and runs well on the ps5. It has a good story and tons of stuff to do. Some of the end game weapons are a blast to wield. I bought the game on sale for $35 but it's worth the full $60.

Great game. I have never really played any of the assassin's creed series, so I cannot compare how the others are but so far I'm enjoying this one in particular. Lovely graphics, and the open world is amazing to explore. The gameplay so far is very engaging. From the way the controls are situated on the controller, and the storyline and music it is very satisfying to play. Total hours I've played so far in this game is about 7 hours and I think I've barely scratched the surface. It has role-playing elements of building up your character and skills.

This game exceeded my expectations.
I was expecting another cookie cutter assassin's Creed game and to an extent it is, map full of markers for stuff to go and collect, etc. But Valhalla goes the extra mile like Odyssey did. The combat feels heavy and visceral, raiding feels fun everytime because the layout and enemy placement is always different. The map is huge but there's plenty of ways to get around from the fast travel system to your house and the long boat.
The map is stuffed with a bunch of markers that kind of feels overwhelming and just another collect-athon but a lot of them are of use and not pointless.
the main story is engaging well written and easy to follow, and the story outside of Eivor is followable but also deep for those who have Ben playing from the beginning.
The voice acting is well done and the graphics are fantastic.
I would recommend this game if you haven't played assassin's Creed in a while or if you really enjoyed odyssey

It's really good, idk what else to say, other than some fps issues (hopefully will be patched), i don't have much to complain about. Combat is solid, two open worlds Norway and England both are incredible. So many secret areas, story is fun so far. Very good.

I have dragged myself through most of the AC franchise over the years through Steam sales and cheap pricing. This is the first AC game i have ever paid full price and completely enjoyed.
The Norse theme is well designed and the story is gripping.
Yes the game loop can hit the same AC repetitiveness. You can spend 100 hrs clearing all of the maps and getting every point or you can play through the main story and level up and get a enjoyable experience without feeling overloaded and spend a fraction of the time. The game let you pick how you want to play.
With a PS5 you get almost instantaneous load times and amazing graphics that are worth the price of this game alone.
At roughly 100hrs in i would recommend this game to anyone that likes AC or someone looking to jump in for the first time.

One of my favorite games, especially among the Assassin’s Creed series. Very beautiful game with a great story. I have played through it several times. Great buy.

I am a longtime fan of the assassin's creed series. I remember getting my brother to buy me the first one back in 2007. I have not played all of them but I've loved every single one I played. My list of these games includes: AC1, AC2, AC Brotherhood, AC3, AC IV Black Flag, AC Rogue, AC Unity, AC Origins, and this being the latest addition to my list. Never got the chance to play Odyssey unfortunately. The mechanics began to change in later Assassin's creeds beginning with Origins. A bit different but didn't take much to get used to, actually felt like it added a bit more challenge. Valhalla brings you to the age of the Vikings, one of the most violent cultures ever to be known in history. We see many parts of Norway as well as England. In Norway you see the Vikings way of life from their acts of pillaging to their customs and traditions. In England parts you start to see the very real, at that time in history, power struggle between the Danes(Vikings) and the Saxons(British). You will meet the sons of Ragnar Lothbrok which if you see the show or know the history then you'll know he is the very first Viking that set out for England and settled there. The world is massive and there are many arcs pertaining to the different arcs of England and Norway that you will explore. There is even a little treat Arc dealing with the Era of the Gods, won't say more than that. This is not a game you will beat in one day. If you play only a few hours a day it's well worth the money. Although, like myself, if it's hard to put down the controller when playing an AC game then you may be able to beat it in less than a week :D. Seriously though its a good game. Some negatives is that there are some bugs and glitches but I experienced nothing that prevented me from playing the game further and I'm sure any bugs will get patched as the game is fairly new. Again I really enjoyed this game and look forward to see what they have in store for the next one.

One of the best Assassin's Creed games made to date. Great graphics and a good storyline. The open world between England and Scandinavia is very well done. Solid combat graphics.

So far i have really enjoyed valhalla! The story is extensive and the gameplay and graphics are great. I wish the controls were a little more in depth, fighting style seems pretty basic, but I am still learning all the moves.

AC: Valhalla is a perfect game for a console launch. There isn't a large selection of games out yet for the PS5, and Valhalla has a ton of content to keep you busy until the PS5 catalogue grows. I'm around 40 hours in and still have barely scratched the surface of this game. However, as usual for open-world Ubisoft games, it is buggy and rough around the edges. That said, considering this game was finished and released during a world-wide pandemic, it isn't as unpolished as other games I have played. If you look past it's flaws and are in the mood for a Viking-simulator, Valhalla is as good a choice as any.
Shout out to Best Buy for being the only online retailer to actually have it in stock when I ordered, and for getting it to me faster than the estimated delivery date. Very satisfied with my order.

Nice game. Very good quality from Ubisoft. Not many bugs(still have some bugs, not really affecting the game play). The storyline is quite long. It was longer than I thought
