The game arrived quickly, the day after release and was packed well. Best Buys communication from the time of purchase, through delivery, and even after having it is by far the best, quickest, reliable place that I've purchased from online hands down, which has lead to me using them for many things in the recent month that I usually would have used amazon for. Definitely recomend and I will keep using them. I fell off Assassin's Creed years ago and Valhalla got me back. Great environment, story, controls and a ton of interesting content to keep me into it. I like how it feels playing it, doesn't feel like AC.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla offers a massive open-world experience with a decent story rooted in Norse mythology and Viking culture. While some parts of the game can feel a bit tedious or repetitive, especially during side quests or long stretches of exploration, the overall package is still rewarding. The combat is satisfying, and there’s a ton of content to dive into—from raiding villages to building your settlement. Visually, the game looks great on PS5, and the atmosphere really pulls you into the world. The soundtrack and voice acting are solid, adding to the immersion. It’s not the best Assassin’s Creed title, but it’s far from the worst. If you can grab it on sale, it’s well worth the price for the amount of gameplay you get. Great choice for fans of open-world action RPGs.

If you liked Odyssey, you'll like this one. I'm very early in the game, but it's very beautiful. The PS5 settings are automatically at HDR, but I switched them off on both my tv and PS5. I had to make a few adjustments, but to me, HDR seems dull. I'm running a 4k tv sony x900f, which is great, but running it at game mode with HDR off and a few adjustments, looks great. Warning though, lots of screen tearing, but that's due to a lack of vrr support. Thats actually due to the fact that ps5 is a bit more powerful than the tv, but should work great on a gaming monitor.

Have only put 10+ hours playing this game and I’m already blown away by the several things that are new to me having stopped playing AC after black flag. Graphics are incredible, love the use of having a raven to provide oversight of the open world. Some things I did notice though were glitches when climbing and also fighting. Have seen eivar climb invisible ladders step and have seen enemies go through objects and walls. Hopefully game patches on the way to fix, but so far game is incredible.

I gave Assassin's Creed Valhalla Standard Edition for PS5 5 stars because I enjoy this game. I've been playing since I purchased it & haven't lost interest. The story lines & side quests are fun. Although there are some glitches, I prefer Valhalla to the previous Assassins Creed. That one was just too random. I still haven't beat the game yet, which is good. I'm looking forward to the expansion pack this spring. You can choose to be a man or woman in this game.

This game should already be in your collection if it is not already. Ubisoft, in my opinion, did some new and different things in Valhalla all while still keeping that same great feel of an AC game. Combat is so satisfying, the music is awesome, its immersive and looks great. It isn't perfect, the voice acting is good but the lip synching is off. It has bugs and has crashed on me a few times already. All in all the game is totally worth the asking price. It is my favorite AC game since Black Flag and that's saying a lot because I loved both Origins and Odyssey. Go buy it.

The Viking theme is awesome. Play the storyline and clear the areas when it tells you to, otherwise you’ll have to clear them all over again. And as soon as you enter a red area, in a distrust zone, call your Vikings for a raid. Trust me on that! Otherwise you’ll clear the whole area on your own, call for a raid and you’ll have to fight a few more bad guys. You also need your Vikings to help you open the big supply chests so don’t go too far out, give one of them a chance to catch up. If a Viking stops short of coming to the chest, there’s a bad guy in the area. Take care of the bad guy and then go back to the big chest. 4K graphics are fantastic. Minor glitches like getting stuck in between 2 rocks and having to reload a starting point and pointing the character to go a certain way and he/she starts climbing ladders but that has plagued AC from the start. And you can’t go around taking innocent people out any more. It will desyncronize. When taking out the elite fighters (zealots) make sure you’re higher ranked than they are. Switch out your armor for a higher ranked one, update it and don’t forget to add runes to it. Skol!

I have always been a big fan of Viking related stories and games but there have been very few really good ones so when I saw this game coming out I had to preorder it. I started playing it when I picked it up and I have to say that it hasn’t disappointed me because it has a solid storyline, excellent graphics and good gameplay. I know that this game will soon become one of my favorites and as well as yours too.

One of the best Assassin's creed games since origins and odyssey. Amazing open world gameplay in a Viking setting with great 4k graphics and super fast load times. This game is a lot of fun and a great addition to the Assassin's creed franchise. Also got it for half off from BestBuy. Great deal!
