Great headset with awesome sound quality. A bit expensive but worth every penny!

Purchased for console gaming for improved sound and it was exactly what I was looking for. Sound is crisp and the structure and build quality is leaps and bounds above all competitor headsets. I also purchased a cable so I can use it for my PC as well as Skype.

These are so awesome, no cutting out or echoing, a little on the spendy side though!

I bought this based upon the quality of other reviews. The price seemed high but I had a gift card so I figured why not. This turned out to be a fantastic headset - the ability to play with the levels of input (game vs. voice) is easily my favorite feature. The headphones do a great job of reducing outside noise while providing incredibly good quality sound. Glad I purchased these.

These headset looks way cool. You can custom the look of them and upgrade your mic to a noice cancellation mic if you purchase the extra modkits. The m80 mixamp is decent but not as good as the mix amp pro. These do stereo sound which is sufficient for average gamer. The plus is that you dont have to be wired to the console like the a40 mix amp pro version.

This headset was always in my bucket list to try and have one for myself. When I put them on, I felt like I was ready to go pro. The comfort and design of the headset is great. The sound is also great as well.

Decent headphones. I have tried multiple headsets now and felt they were good quality/sound, but for the money spent I was anticipating just a little bit more to be honest. I will vouch for their customer service however. We had a question upon opening and installing them, and was able to get a live person online with the website provided within one minute. In my opinion you should purchase the turtle beach 800x model though. I was really impressed with the sound quality on the Turtle Beach 800x (I play Call of Duty and wanted headphones that would focus even on some footsteps in the distance). I would buy the geek squad protection with them (or any set of headphones really) as any issues or questions you may have is done through emails (with turtle beach models), which took a week approx for responses. Best Buy will have your back with the protection plan at the minimum. If the Turtle Beach 800x is out of your price range ($300), the Astro A40, or Turtle Beach XO SEVEN PRO (both $150 approx) would have my vote for a second place tie (but would rather save for the 800x). Just remember geek squad protection, especially for turtle beach products due to the degree of communication issues. I did not check yes on recommending to a friend below purely based on the fact the Turtle Beach 800x have superior sound quality (although double the price).

Always bought the less expensive headsets. Decided to buy something nice for myself. I should of bought these long ago. You can clearly hear footsteps behind you when playing online. They are a must have item for a gamer. Plus, they have the EQ to give you the exact sound you want. Just insane, turtle beach doesn't touch these..

Great sound. Very comfortable even for long periods.

Good sound quality. The thing that I like most about these is that the sides of the headset pop off so the sound comes out the back. You can then wear the headset around your neck and rotate the cups so they rest flatly on your chest and you can hear them nicely without wearing the cups over your ears. I do this often.
