The sound is so clear, fast response in online gaming, and I love the option to plug into the controller or into the system with the mixer. Also able to play music into the headphones while in a game!

I was surprised by the audio quality hooked it up to my PS4 after updating the firmware from my pc and it's just WOW everything from music to tv to gaming it does everything very well would recommend to anyone who is a gamer of any type from casual to pro. The headset is on the heavier side compared to the turtle beaches but with the soft ear cups and head band after a short while it feels so comfortable even after long gaming sections 5/5

I am a gamer and have purchased many headsets. I have used wireless and wired in the past. By far this is the very best headset I have owned.

This is my second pair of these. The first one I bought in 2013 and that one lasted until now. I've had the new one for about a year now and it's nothing but greatness. It works better when you use the optical cable and have it set up that way. I use mine on my PS4 and I absolutely love it. The sound is crisp and the microphone works well. I would definitely get these over any other headphones.

Love the vocals but also bass fantastic. Cant really complain, for one big reason. Long wired and most importantly amp works great it size.

It's been some time that I have invested in a piece of technology that I'm this thrilled with. The sound quality is so far above anything I used prior (razer, turtle beach, and PSN) that I was shocked. On top of that the craftsmanship of this headset is second to none. They are sturdy and feel like they would be hart to break. All components are attached magnetically and are still extremely sturdy. LOVE my ASTRO's!! Never going back!

These gaming headphones are the best! I expected good sound quality and performance and got that. What I didn't expect was that the fact that they are very light weight means less pressure on my neck and TMJ. I've had jaw surgery, so I'm very sensitive to anything that puts pressure or weight on that area, and these are perfect. I even wrote to my doc suggesting that these might be good for his other patients.

The sound quality is great. You hear every little detail the game offers. I highly recommend to anyone that is looking for that one headset to change everything for them.

This headphones perform very well, and produce great sound. The microphone is also good.

Great sounding pair of headphones over the included Mixamp. Bonus is the Mixamp can be used with any pair of headphones with the standard 3.5mm audio jack. As for the headset itself it's comfortable with pretty good mic quality. They don't isolate/block out sounds too well and can get a little sibilant with the highs but you can change the eq to fix that problem.

I play all types of games but this headset is amazing for Rainbow Six Siege. I can hear their footsteps far away I definitely recommend this headset

I bought this to replace my old headset and I’m glad I did. Was a little iffy about the price, but when I started setting up a second computer for streaming I realized how great this headset really is. The mix amp has a port for streaming so I only had to run an aux cable from the mixer to the streaming computer and hats it for sound, game chat and mic to the stream!

I am new to the gaming headphone market and after extensive research and in store trials, I purchased the Astro A40s. One of the best decisions I've made! It's hard to explain how amazing these sound without listening yourself. Try them out in the in store display. Well worth the investment if you are a gamer! Pairs well with a high refresh rate gaming monitor.

These feel GREAT. The cloth ear cups feel so soft its awesome. The astro mixamp is so cool too. Does all the work for the dolby processing. You can hear everything in game. Explosions sound louder and better. Footsteps can be heard around the corner or upstairs. Amazing. And these can be set up to your tv as well! Watched some netflix and bluray and it sounds like Im in the cinema! Awesome pair of heasets. Mic is good, if you cant afford these or just dont feel like spending the money Id recommend the playstation gold headphones or the hyperx clouds.

This headset is exceptional in every way, if you have the money for it I definitely recommend it. It has superb sound and you can really differentiate everything in games. You can hear from far away and the mix amp is really nice; it helps you tone down friends/players and make the game louder or vice versa.
