These are the best headsets I have owned. They feel very durable and very snug around my ears. The ear cupping add to the comfort and they dont feel like they are squishing your ears in any way. The amp that it comes with is very helpful in separating game and chat volume. The competitor's have none to compete this product with and would recommend to any gamer out there.

I had the previous astro a40s, which are great, but these are even better. There are less cables that are required in order to use and you now have the option to customize the settings by connecting to the pc through an app. I love the you can customize the headset by swapping out parts and its still the same great surround sound astros are known for. Truly an amazing headset.

I bought this headset for comp play on ps4, I had the original a40s and then these came out, such a better buy, best headset, spend the money and get it

These pair of cans are really really premium. They are comfy, loud(in a good way), clear, crisp, and the directional audio works really really well. It has a break-in period though. At first, the headset will clamp your head to a borderline painful manner(hence the 4 stars). However, after 2-3 days, it'll become very comfortable to the point of not realizing it's on your head. All of these for an expensive price. So if you have the money and you like to splurge it on your audio game, don't be afraid to buy this one.

I used the wireless, but heard staric at times decided to go for the wired. Much better and do not have to have the headset charged

I heard these were some for the best headsets for gaming. I had an old wireless turtle beach that still works. I only had to replace it because the wifi extenders in my home kept interfering with the sounds. My headphones would constantly break and crack up or just go blank for a few seconds. This usually got me killed during online play. I went with the Astros and the only thing I was warned about was the mic. My friends had told me it can break up from time to time. I went ahead and got it and if the mic is not close to your mouth it will break up on the other end. You also cannot talk in a low voice or it may not catch everything. This is not an issue as I can speak loud and keeping it near my mouth is not a problem. The sound is amazing and you won't be disappointed. I do recommend the version with the amp if you play online a lot and want to be able to turn other players voices down or turn the game volume louder with ease of a turn. I have worn for hours at a time with no discomfort. The cords are very lengthy and thick, they feel of quality.

If you are an avid gamer that relies on your hearing then you NEED these headphones. They are super comfy and incredibly awesome in the sound department. You can play for hours, no days on end without ear fatigue. The mix amp that comes with this sound beast takes an already A+ rating and takes it to a AAA+++ platinum diamond rating.

Good build quality. Voice communications is pretty clear. Cord length is ample. The amp adds enough boost to enhance the sound experience.

These have got to be one of the best headphones I have ever used. Great sound and I love the ability to adjust the sound between my games and party chat. Typically, after wearing a set of headphone for a couple of hours it hurts my ears. I have wore these for 6+ hours when raiding and no discomfort whatsoever. I highly recommend!

I use to have these and it wore out of after years of heavy use. I went through a lot of gaming headsets. Official PlayStation ones, hyper x, a50, turtle beach , Corsair etc. and the Astro a40tr beats all in sound quality and comfort. Great sound for movies competitive gaming. Which is why I bought these again
