This is by far the best gaming headset I’ve ever had!The quality is amazing, they really make the game experience so much better,, so yeah, they’re pretty awesome.

By far the best headset I have ever owned. There is always mixed feelings with changing to a new headset but after a week there was no turning back. Very comfortable headset and superior quality of play with the mixamp. Always been a turtle beech guy but not anymore. Also, make sure you plug your optical cable in all the way on your council. I had trouble with that at first.

Recommend these over the wireless A50 any day! Cables are long enough and shouldn't be an issue unless your console is 15 or 20 feet away from you. Very clear sound as well.

I replaced my old Xbox 360 A40's. These have awesome sound, no problem with mic, it's nice to have no cables going to controller, perfect balance between chat and game sound.

This was a Christmas gift for our son and was a huge hit! He is a gamer kid and likes to talk to his friends while online playing and these are the best ....per our son :-)

This is the best headset I have ever owned. The mixamp lets you control the balance between game and voice sounds. Works really well. Very clear sound.

I ended up going with the Turtle Beach Elite Pro after using both. Nothing against the A40TR, they are great. I just felt the Elites were a little better in overall sound quality (Astro's sound would probably have been better with the closed, rather than open back but an additional $60 was a bit too steep) and comfort. Regardless, you can't go wrong with these.

I can’t even turn these up to full volume because they get way to loud! I love it! If you use a optical cable, you will get surround sound!

This is the virtual surround headset I had wanted for years, and it didn’t disappoint me at all. It’s simple/straight forward and delivers the bass heavy and customizable sound I wanted. I suppose this set is a bit expensive for the average gamer, but it feels like it will stand the test of time. Many components are interchangeable, so it’s just nice to know I’ll be able to perform a variety of repairs or modifications if the need ever arises.

I purchased these after the mic on my Astro A50's broke. The reason I got this instead is that the mic and ear cups are replaceable, while the ones on the A 50s are not. These earphones sound awesome. If there was one inconvenient drawback, I'd say that the wires can be a bit cumbersome at times, but I'd rather have that than another mic break that I can't replace.

The Mix Amp is the real deal for this headset. I love the sound quality and not having to plug a headset directly to my controller.
