From what I have heard a lot of people had the problem i did with these headphone, the cable that goes from the headset to the controller went bad. Other than that the headphones were amazing they had superior sound quality and very comfortable. Just hope they get the cable issue resolved.

I would purchase a headset for every gamer in my household, if I could afford it lol. Definitely rich in sound and fits comfortably on your head. 5 Stars

This is my second pair of A50's and I love them. Great sound and balance. Very comfortable to wear for long sessions. I like how you can adjust the game and voice volume to balance it the way you like.

Best features are having a comfortable head set that you can adjust the sound quality while you are playing. For example, you can hear the other teams movement in Call of Duty with a click of a button.

These are my first ever astro headset and I am very happy. The quality build and sound output is excellent. The reason I chose this model is because it is also compatible with my PS4. Again ONLY the xbox one version of the A50 can be cross platform. The A50 ps4 version don't work with xbox. If you want to have an edge in gaming and hear all footsteps this is a MUST have.

Best pair of gaming headphones that I have owned. Great bass, but not overwhelming. Crisp mids and highs. Chat to game volume control to easily mute unwanted teammates. Great product

This is by far best headset ive used. I had turtle beaches wivh tends to snap at the headband because of quality. The astros a50 feel really high quality and comfortable. The sound is amazing and loud. I have to turn it down a lot. I first bought the a40 with the mixamp 80 which is not 7.1 dolby. They were comfortable but does not sound as good as the a50.

I bought these about a month ago. Very good sound quality, look and feel! Especially the surround sound system! The few drawbacks however is I couldn't seem to find a mute button (maybe I'm just silly) also for like $300 they aren't even wireless. It is also a bit limited in functionality. But otherwise they're pretty good, I just think they should be less expensive.

Love how good the sound is. It really feels crisp and clear. Also love the auto shut off feature and how it's light weight. Would recommend it to any true gamer.

I bought this even with the thought that the voice might be tinny but it works great and the others I play with say it sounds good on their end too. The only issue I have is that sometimes / most times the xbox one does not recognize the mic which is strange until I plug in an older standard mic that came with the xbox then swap back the plug / cord for the A50. Not sure why that is but once xbox fixes that everything will be awesome.

I will start off by saying this pair of headphones is extremely comfortable. The sound quality is comparable to other headset of Lesser prestige. the headset constantly turns off if its not receiving input to the controller by this I mean if you're not pushing buttons or moving thumb sticks on the controller it turns off about every 5 minutes I discovered this while skyping. I can only guess that this is a function to save on battery life.as far as battery life goes it will last well through a 12 hour gaming session and I put it on the charger after I'm done using it so I have never had the battery died while playing. As I said before these are extremely comfortable and the sound quality is decent the build quality feels very solid but overall I don't believe that this pair of headset should be $300 I believe the 250 range would be solid for the sound quality but then again it does offer simulated 7.1 surround sound and that is ultimately why I went with this pair over the a40's

After a lot of headset juggling I ended up with the A50's and love them. I have 2 pairs of the white ones. This is so I can have one charging while I use the other. That way I never have to go wired while the headset charges. You see I use my A50's for more than gaming. They sound so good I use them for all movies, TV, music, etc. Basically all audio that comes from my TV. If you are looking for a great headset you cant go wrong with Astro A50's. They sound amazing, are extremely reliable, and have never even come close to breaking. Highly recommended. Thanks for reading.

The sound and comfort is amazing,best gaming headset ive had,i had one before and mic gave out after 2 years so buy that 3 year warranty with squaretrade

The Astro A50 is an excellent headset. I recently purchased the Xbox One edition, and I use this headset for both my Xbox One and my PC. Its fantastic. My play has definitely improved. A lot of people do not understand how a headset can make a difference, but if you are playing a first person shooter like I do, there are so many things more that you can hear, and clearly. The surround sound works great. You can tell what is on top, behind, around. Definitely gives you an extra edge on the competition. Are there headsets that perform this well? Sure, the Astro A50 is not the only one great headset. I feel that it is of great quality. With a $300 price tag it feels odd at first that it is made out of plastic. It deceivingly feels cheap. However the plastic and foam used to build this product are excellent. It is able to stay extremely lightweight and comfortable for hours. The foam allows this to breathe on your head so that you do not get warm. Also the foam allows glasses to fit perfectly without feeling awkward.

Bought this for my brother as a gift. He can't stop telling me how awesome it is. He says the sound quality is solid and long term comfort is great as well

Bought one for my husband around Xmas and he liked it so much that when my son's headset (NOT an Astro) died we bought him one too. They both love the full experience that the sound gives them when they are gaming together on line.

Money well spent. They look great, comfortable, and sound amazing! I returned the Turtle Beach X07 for these. I purchased them on sale for $224.99.

I bought these as a replacement for my Turtle Beach X42's. This headset is unbelievable and worth every penny. Great sound and very comfortable.
