Was iffy to get this over a scuf or battle beaver but decided to try it out. So far, this thing has been great and has no flaws. Would definitely recommend to anyone that only needs 2 back buttons.

This controller seems to Be very durable. I can customize the controller For different type of games. The only down thing about it is that my left stick grinds very lightly. Small detail but it’s there. I wish you could turn on the ps4 with the controller. Overall great product. Worth the price

THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST CONTROLLER I EVER BOUGHT I HAVE THE XBOX ELITE AND IS WAS GOOD AT FIRST BUT STARTED TO GET DRIFT BUT THIS ONE WITH THE MOVABLE STICKS AS WELL AS THE RECAL. BUTTON USER INTERFACE

The controller is amazing and feels great! Astro really outdid themselves with this controller. The software that you download and can make sure your controller is working at full potential is amazing.

Love it Love it Love it! the back paddles are vital! The only issue is the user needs to make sure to take good care of the analog sticks to avoid stick drift.

great controller. i did have a problem with one of the sticks.it was stuck in a drift that couldn't be fixed. called astro and they were happy to replace. haven't had a problem since.

I like the weight of the controller, my hands don’t get sweaty with it. The paddles are easy to use and it’s easy to connect to my ps4. The the packaging was great.

Really great controller. Feels really nice and is customizable. The only cons for this controller is that you can't power on your Playstation with it, unless there's been an update that in unaware of. Also there's no battery level indicator.

Not a bad controller but the sticks are the weak link. I've had to replace them a couple times due to the button function if the stick fails. Drift is an issue but can be reset fairly easily

Picked this up for my son for Christmas. No complaints so far. He is able to customize different parts of the controller to suit his needs. So it's definitely worth the price.

Be ready to order replacements for your stick modules. These things are the first to break. For a $200 controller, it should way last longer before showing any signs of wear and tear. Save your money. It will not be compatible with PS5 games. Sorry Astro, you should take this back to the drawing boards. I wanted to like this controller, but there are major issues with the stick drifts that is not resolved. Btw, i've only had this controller for a couple of months before it had issues. Many other reviews will tell you the same so it is not just me.

I have purchased a few different types of controllers. The Astro C40 is by far the best controller that I have purchased. Best buy is the BEST place to purchase.

I gave this to my son for Christmas and he loves it! He says it’s the best controller he has used! I’m not much of a gamer so I don’t know the difference but HE LOVES IT

This controller is constructed very well. Its bigger than a standard ps4 dualshock with a lot of easy on-the-fly adjustments at your disposal. Buttons are easy to remap. Only thing keeping it at 4 stars is that the controller is unable to turn the PS4 on.

I was told this would be a much better controller than the standard PS4 controller. To me the controller felt too big, the controls awkward to reach, and the L3/R3 buttons were difficult to activate. Programming the paddles as anything but alternate buttons was misleading as well. This requires a dongle for a wireless connection. There's a ton of lag in that, making this a difficult controller to use wirelessly for any kind of PVP activities. warranty was also sketchy. Standard PS controllers have a year, yet this, costing tons more, only has a 3 month warranty :(

Must own for all PlayStation owners. Best remote out there. The button customizations is amazing. I love this remote. It feels great and the build quality is top notch.

This is now my primary controller. Customization very easy and quick. The software on the computer is much more customizable with the triggers and sticks.

Good quality for the price. The old one my son had was wearing out and he needed a new one. Got this one, and it has been working fine.

The controller is pretty reliable, I’ve only had a couple issues with it that might’ve been my fault. The only downside is that when you map a button to the back pads it disables the original button instead of being redundant which makes it taxing at first.

My husband bought his first one in February for his bday. He had it for a month before he had to start replacing the analog stick. Something inside broke a month ago and we replaced it through the warranty. He did not have his second one for a month and the stick snapped completely and he can’t use it at all. The joy sticks just rattled around. He loves the controller but it is so cheaply made it is absolutely not worth the money. He wants to just return it and buy a different brand but fears being put on a watch list from Best Buy.
