Controller is awesome, has great responsiveness and the customization through the software makes this a must have.

This controller is a nice improvement over stock controllers for my PS4. I also use it for PC games and it's been great!

Bought for my husband, he loves it. I would highly recommend to get the warranty, his messed up after a few months but replacing it was a breeze. So far his replacement has not messed up.

When I first received the controller I was amazed at the quality and feel of this premium product. I also own the Scuff Vantage and was very happy with the C40 in comparison. Now here we are 4 months later and I have constant issues with L3 and R3 inputs and drifting. You can reset thumb sticks with super cool button but issues come back within an hour. I have searched online and found this is a common complaint with this product. Wait until new version or they own up to this flaw.

This is a pretty good controller. The only main issue I have is the drift started pretty early compared to a DS4 controller. Still an overall good purchase.

Before reviewing the C40 I will share a little about my experience with 3rd party controllers. I own/have owned every iteration of Ps4 SCUF contollers, nacom rev, razer raiju, and now C40. I share that bit of knowledge as I know what’s out there and what a quality controller should feel like. The C40 gets a lot right; it feels good in hand, the two re-mappable buttons on the back are in the perfect space and will feel comfortable for any hand, the grip and feel of the controller are good, the controller is on the heavier side but negligible. Having said that I have owned 2 C40 controllers and there is a major design flaw in the control stick modules. In two separate controllers I have had one stick have a slight grinding sensation when moving the stick that is a nuisance and effects precision movements. With the first controller the sticks began experiencing drift after a couple of months. Astro sells replacement modules (allegedly they have been out of stock on back order since my original purchase at launch of the controller). Astros customer service hasn’t acknowledged the flaw in their controllers and each instance requires you to send the controller back to them, not ideal for a “premium” controller. Overall I’d stay away from this until Astro improves their quality and service with their control sticks. Doesn’t matter how the rest of the controller feels, the sticks are what is important.

I bought this for my new iPod pro for COD experience. Unfortunately, the game was no longer available on Apple. My son ended up using it for his PS4 playing COD and using his PS4 controller.

I got this to replace a garbage scuf controller. I've had this for months and have not had a single problem.

I don't know if it's my controller or how I have it setup but it's not quite working right. I used the App on my laptop to customize buttons and sensitivity but it's not consistent. I keep having to reset the controller manually every 4 session or so. If you set the sensitivity on the App and then you use the controller, the level, ie 7, won't work for diagonal strafing (FPS game). It only works on up, down, left and right. Super annoying. I find my player running then walking then running. The O button is definitely not working correctly. It sometimes doesn't work at all.

Esteticlly it's a good looking controller. The concept is great. Additional rear button are great. The overall weight of the controller is on the heavier side. Approximately twice as much the the PS4 controller. If Astro can fix the drifting joystick and reduce weight then it would be a five start controller. Tried a second controller and had same issue. For the price that this controller is, the product should be flawless.

LOVE IT!!!!! feels real comfortable compared to a regular controller highly recommended it
