Purchased for teenager school work and zoom meetings. Yes it has a PCIe 2.0 M.2 NVMe slot. Speed is approx 1700MB/s Read, 1400MB/s Write. I used a Western Digital SN750 EK Heatsink model to test it. CPUz benchmark: Single Thread - 204 Multi Thread - 408 Wifi is not very fast. 55Mb/s (55 Megabits per second). This will do just fine for normal school work, internet, productivity, etc.. Mine had a missing screw from the CPU heatsink, Luckily it was loose inside and fell out, so I put it back in. should be fine. There was no screw for the M.2 slot, I had to use one of my own. This is very small, I have to use reading glasses to see read on the display. 11.6" screen. pretty small laptop. About the size of an ipad maybe a tad bigger. The worst part is Windows 11 setup. It requires a Microsoft account and takes about 2 hours, you cannot use this laptop without one, you can create an account during the process. The laptop will always be tied to your Microsoft Account. So I'm not how that would work when you sell it, or give it away. That's my only real complaint. I was able to at least create another Admin user and delete the account with my info. But I'm sure it will be permanently attached to my Microsoft Account in some way forever. PCIe 2.0. That's 10+ year old technology, but not really an issue cause the CPU would probably max out transfer at PCIe 3.0 speeds anyway. So that's also expected. Removing 1 star for 2 missing screws, Heatsink, and M.2 screws.

Bought as an extra for when I need help in the office. The size doesn’t matter, I just hook it up to a bigger screen. Will do the job but i can see it getting a little slow.

Affordably priced laptop, though the sound volume is very inadequate for the average person for hearing. Overall, this laptop is a good device for basic computer use to do web searches and to store personal files.

It’s hard to tell the performance with only a few weeks use, however for the price is has so far performed within expectations. Slightly slower than expected. But you get what you pay for.

I had originally purchased an Open Box - Excellent HP Stream of the same size. However, I wasn't too impressed with the color of the HP (white), and the day it was delivered, this one had gone on sale, Brand New, at a lower price. It was a no-brainer, for me, since I had already compared the displays in the store. I needed a spare computer that I could use on the go, better. My "main" computer is a Lenovo 14", and though it is great, I wanted something a bit smaller, and lighter, with at least close to the same performance. I use Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office (mainly Excel, with VBA), and watch Amazon Prime Video. I tried running all 3 at once, and had very little loss of performance. It also came with Web Root Antivirus software as part of the purchase bonus (very easy to install) and Office 365, so both were major pluses for me. I also really like that it opens to 180 degrees, and lays flat., which provides more versatility while using. I don't use the numbered keyboard much, but I find it pretty cool when I need to enter numbers, whether it be the calculator, or entering information in a web site or PDF.

I purchased this laptop because my desktop was hit during Hurricane Ian. I work remotely two days a week and I needed something until I can get my desktop fixed or replaced. It’s compact which I like but it’s slow and the battery life isn’t that great. It’s getting the job done.

I really wanted this laptop to work for me, but it fell short in a couple ways. First off, the build and keyboard were surprisingly really good for the price. Trackpad was usable but no where near as excellent as the keys. Screen was obviously not great, lower resolution and had to get viewing angles just right to see what I was looking at. The real issue with this laptop is the processor, ram and storage which are all slow. Windows notoriously eats memory to run before you do anything, so when you actually open a web browser or try to watch a video it slows down to a crawl - forget any sort of multitasking. The additional seconds it takes for things to load on this computer would be better spent working to upgrade to a slightly better system. Linux may be a different story, but Windows needs 8 GB at least to not be a painful experience. An even greater misfortune is that all components are soldered so there is no hope to upgrade any of the parts. The battery was also not impressive.

Cheap lil device. I just have it playing Spotify all day and night and it works. Plugged in all the time so don't have much input on battery life. Slower theb high end devices, but works for what I do.

This has been fine for this elderly person. Lightweight, navigable using zoom function, good speed, decent memory, decent battery life. Updated to Windows 11(minimal worth for my age with unused bells and whistles). Got at a discount price point at Best Buy(thanks guys). I recommend it for average needs...doubt a good choice for any gaming.

I recommend this laptop if your just trying to get basic stuff done like taking a test or notes for class. I wouldn’t recommend to play games on this or anything like that because it is kinda slow. The size is good and camera quality is the bare minimum and audio is good. Basically, this laptop is the bare minimum depending what you need the function of a laptop. For this one, the function is just to get work done for school or something. 200$ is a good price considering a really good fast laptop can cost over 1000$ And this is about 15-20% of that.

Nice portable lightweight Windows computer. I took it on vacation to visit family. They liked it so much that I gave it to them. Now I need a new one! This is a great machine for office applications and email, I do not use games, but I would think it would be too underpowered to run some of the modern games. It does not have a 1080P screen so you may need to limit the font and scroll a bit more, but it is a small laptop and this is the trade off for portability
