I found this computer to be lacking in regards to my expectations. It is 13 months old and I probably haven’t used it ten times yet. Every time I turn it on, several CMD screens flashed across the desktop, but I did purchase this open box so maybe someone else caused that. I have not figured out what that was about, but it seems to work ok in spite of that. Things I dislike about this laptop, the touchpad design. The “buttons” for mouse clicks are just areas, so often I click on it wrong. When I try to use the numbers on the pad to put in my pin, the cursor jumps around. It doesn’t hold a charge well at all. I plug it in, and it charges up, but due to my infrequent use, it is dead again by the next use. It seems to cause my games to run laggy but that is no fault of the unit because it’s specs were in the description. The thing I like about this laptop is, it is not very heavy. I would recommend this for very light duty use.

Like this lightweight laptop. Easy to use and battery life stays good after long use.

This laptop is to replace an older one. I use it to surf web, play games (older) and watch movies. This is the machine for that. It has limitations so make sure you read the specs and know that this is the laptop you want. As i said it is perfect for what I use it for. A work place media station. Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Video run flawless. Web surfing is quick and WiFi is has been a breeze. I connect to my home network, cell phone hotspot and free access at the hotel I work at, all with no problems. Games this laptop will run. Neverwinter Nights 1, Baldurs Gate EE, Diablo II, Spellforce 1, Clive Barkers Undying, Dungeon Seige 1, Star Wars Empire at War, Nexus the Jupiter Incident. It runs Logitechs GHUB Software no problems. It comes with Windows 10 S. It updated to current version no problems. Just do a Google search for Windows 10 S mode to see its features and how to disable if you choose to. ASUS Software updated no problems. March 25 2022 it did a BIOS update. All good. Look the specs over. See if this is the laptop for you and if it is I would say you will be happy with the purchase. I am.

This was an excellent purchase, and not just because the price was low. I needed a simple computer to do online browing and simple math computations for accounting, and the Best Buy salesperson showed me this computer, which was in my budget of around $200. It is surprisingly fast. Because I am a senior citizen, it also was a tremendous help that it transferred my old files quickly and easily with me barely lifting a finger. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a computer at a low price but a high quality performance. It is also very lightweight.

So glad that i have gotten this laptop. Works just perfect for my need. Light weight. Decent size for carrying around with me. Fits well my shoulder bag. Love it.

Upgraded to m2 drive and it started to work a bit faster. Very basic laptop to browse internet.

This laptop works great for office and gaming. I use it when I’m out of town or not at my house. I’ve never had a single issue with it. The charge lasts all day when I’m gaming or 2-4 days when I’m out of town for work. Highly recommend.

I am very pleased and excited with my laptop purchase.This Asus laptop has allowed me to take my projects to the next level with its ability to let me surf the web and open multiple webpages at once with great speed and with its 128gb memory it has allowed me to save tons of valuable information and picture documentation.Its perfect overall size and bright vivid screen have allowed me to really see and better understand alot of things need in projects.I would definitly recommond or if i had to i would choose to get this same laptop over again.My review of this laptop and my personal experience using it are very satisfying

Great product. Sturdy design and slim enough to fit in my binder pouch. I bought it for when I have to work in the field, and on those days when I'm working remotely. Powerful enough to run 10 different programs at once, and no lagging internet connections. Lightweight and easy to use. Large screen display features are available.

Small, light weight, convenient to move around or travel with but still functions almost as well as a full sized unit. Price was right also.

I bought this machine for some light office work, and remote access to client computers. It’s not a super powerful laptop, nor does it have a ton of space. It works fantastic, fires up instantly and allows me to do what I need. My only negative thoughts on it, is the Windows S OS. It is incredibly limiting and doesn’t allow me to use the programs I need. However if you remove it, then it’s no longer limited.

Bought this on sale because I wanted to put Linux on it. Great performance for Linux and the battery is lasting a long time, have yet to recharge it. Tip if you are putting Linux on it - the WIFI was not recognized. Go to 'Driver Manager' and get the latest WIFI driver. I had to use a Ethernet to USB adapter to get to the internet before this was resolved.

Got this laptop to replace an older unit I had. I use Team Viewer and remote into my PC. So speed was not an issue. Works like a charm.

Good laptop for surfing the internet to do shopping, pay bills, read news, check mails, social media ....etc. I also used it for spreadsheet and documentation. Watchng video online or download video is fine. Come with Winfow10 safe mode and easy steps to switch to Home mode to load additional apps. Not planning to upgrade to Window11 as it may run slower due to memory limitation. Battery life is 6 operating hours or so per charge which last a couple days for me. Response is fine (Window norm) as I do not open/run too many apps at the same time.

I run my business off of this computer. I dont ask it to do much but run the software needed for my business. Going strong for 2 years. Happy

Great laptop for the price! I should’ve got this for myself

I bought this laptop and it was on sale, great price and it’s easy to use, convenient for browsing and research. It was a gift for my niece, she does not need it for any more complexed tasks, mainly for research for her college classes and essays. She’s happy with it and it was great deal!

It’s a good buy, 14 inch laptop at a cheaper price is Good enough. Screen display is good, speed is a little bit good.

This is an excellent unit for entry-level like high school, community college and things of that nature. It is powerful just not tremendously powerful. It is not expandable for most part, the memory is hardwired as is the CPU/GPU BUT the keyboard is very responsive, the trackpad is actually also a 10-Key pad so it does great for accounting applications. There is an internal PCI E slot inside that you could add an EMMC/SSD memory Drive stick to expand it. I’ve also added a four port USB hub on the 3.2 Jack which has allowed me to add individual flash drives so I’ve actually got about 1 TB of total space and still allows me to use the other cable ports and everything else. All ports are up the specs they state like they’re supposed tp. The web cameras not bad, but overall it is a very light unit and it’s very easy to use. Now it comes with windows 10 you can instantly get an Windows 11 free ( as of this date) but I have mine set to dual boot to Ubuntu Linux and it’s also working just fine with that so for the price tag it’s one you can pick up especially if you’re worried about any kind of damage from life or kids or anything like that it’s not an expandable unit but it’ll still give you what you need to get the job done .
