Already slowing down 3 months later. I had to buy it to run 1 program (Lockdown Browser) and it struggles. CONS: -The computer is SLOW and woefully underpowered for modern applications. -Screen is not good (bad viewing angles, dim, blown out colors) -Can’t multitask -Charger is slow and light weight (very cheap) PROS: -Keyboard and trackpad feel cheap but are functional (far from the worst and fine for this price) -Battery is good -Finish on the chasis is good. Structurally solid (holds finger prints but looks nice) I would not buy this again. Save your money and get something better.

I suddenly needed a cheap laptop just before the Black Friday in July sale. First time booting up, Windows 11 will need to perform a large software upgrade. The amount of time it takes will vary depending on the size of the upgrade and the speed of your WiFi. Ran Cinebench 23 and CPU-Z after the upgrade/system updates and the results are in the photos attached. Adding first star for: Price, it’s hard to beat. Adding second star for: Performs its budget entry duties; web browsing, streaming, Word/Excel. (This is not a gaming machine.) Removing first star for: Best Buy not filling in the spec fields on their website (as of the time that I purchased). Some of the information is even WRONG, the title of the laptop has the name Celeron in it and the “At a Glance” calls it a Pentium. This makes the website comparison option pointless. Add the 4 cheapest Asus laptops to the comparison tool and see for yourself. Best Buy missing/incomplete/incorrect info (for this model): -Intel Celeron N4020 CPU 1.10ghz, boost 2.8ghz -RAM: 4GB, DDR4-2400 -Graphics: Intel UHD 600 -Storage: Kingston 64GB emmc, roughly 20GB is useable (based on Windows 11 upgrade) -Wireless: WiFi 5 (802.11ac 1x1), Realtek 8821CE -Bluetooth: 5.0, LMP 9.34529 -Camera: Front VGA, 480p -Touchscreen: No -Media Card Reader: No -Energy Star: Yes -TPM 2.0: Yes Removing second star for: Asus having a dozen different “VivoBook” and E410 models over 2 years, without Clear model numbers or generations of models. You can’t find Independent accurate reviews for this specific model’s hardware/software configuration, not that I think there are any given the recycling of the “VivoBook” and E410 names. But I ended up wasting time looking for those reviews, that’s time I’m not getting back. And I’m not the only one confused, in this forum it looks like the Asus Staff are saying it doesn’t come with Office, but mine came with Microsoft 365 Personal for 1 year. Removing third star for: The CPU is *apparently* locked at a 2.7ghz boost, see the last attached photo. CPU-Z also shows this CPU Name labeled as a “N4000” CPU with a 27x multiplier. The N4020 should have a 2.8ghz boost and the N4000 should have a 2.6ghz boost. The Asus E410MAB motherboard has almost no settings to adjust, so I can’t see for sure if it is locked at 2.7ghz or if Intel just relabeled some N4000 CPU’s. Anyhow shaving 100 mhz off of a budget laptop seems like a headscratcher. *Not going to recommend this product given the missing 100mhz. Recommendations: -Turn off Windows "S" mode and switch to normal Home mode. -Turn off Visual Effects, “Adjust for best performance”. -Switch to a “High Performance” power plan. -Install a M.2 drive with a *DRAM cache*.

Good price, good quality just for 100 bucks, so far so good.

Bought this for my Son as his Christmas gift, i couldn't wait till Christmas to give it to him, he is using it for school work and games.he loves it.

It's not a superfast computer that you can mulittask or code with.... But for the price you definitely can't go wrong. Purchased primarily for watching TV shows and light surfing and it does the tasks well.

Ordered this 5 months ago. It was doing great until yesterday it won’t turn on. I’ve tried charging it and looking up everything I can to get it to work and it won’t. It has been kept in my laptop purse if it’s not in use since I got it. Well taken care of. I have a 10 page paper due for homework with no way of retrieving.. I would not recommend !!!

I had a lot of trouble with this laptop. I had to reset the hard drive and now I’m unable to connect to my internet.

We purchased a few of these for high school graduates that are headed off to college. The number keypad is a plus! This was an amazing price for this laptop.

As described . It came in like two days maybe even one day it was two days earlier than it was supposed to be that’s all I do now and it was well packaged and it looks perfect and I am happy with it I would not complain at all Love it

It was great until the mandatory update was complete. Now it’s slow, not sure what to use it for now.

Good graphics and vivid colors but sound quality is poor

Nice laptop that i got as a Christmas present for my girlfriend's dotter, so this sunday i will have a better review, but this one looks pretty nice, i beleive she's going to enjoy it!!!!

easy to use and it's Windows 11 A new computer with the same OS would cause more than this. It has good display and for the price I purchased 2 units.

Great laptop at a great price. The webcam works great and it’s clear and crisp. The keyboard feels great too. I especially love the metal.

I purchased this based on what I know about Chromebooks. I was unaware Microsoft has a chrome book as well. Definitely do not enjoy using Microsoft’s version when I am already immersed in Google and their chrome book. I am now unsuccessfully trying to turn this into what I thought I purchased
