Decent budget laptop for basic work. Low resolution screen makes this not a great choice for streaming media or gaming. Small onboard storage makes cloud work a necessity, however it's easy to add a m.2 form factor drive for more storage, but RAM is built in and *not* upgradeable. Incredible battery life; I worked for 8 hours nonstop and still had over 30% remaining. Overall a capable machine for basic work at a very low price

Easy fir downloaded games like sims 4 and even able to add mods. Sometimes it’s a bit slow and you have to charge it a few times a day but it’s a great laptop for School and games! FPS on sims isn’t too bad could be better but for the price I can’t complain! I would recommend getting a storage device for it though!

Bought as a travel laptop

I was looking for a lightweight travel laptop, after taking abroad my MSI gaming and it's 170w power supply was heavy to lug around. The Asus E410 was a lightweight option, as I'm not a gamer, and just needed a laptop to answer client queries, while traveling. I easily upgraded the Asus to Windows 11 (it's Intel processor is on the list of supported processors), and removed it from S mode to load up non-Microsoft Store software. The laptops 4GB of DDR4 RAM is soldered to the motherboard and is non-upgradable, nor is it's 64GB EMMC storage, BUT unusual for a laptop at it's price range, the motherboard has an empty M.2 SSD slot. I was able to easily add a 256GB PCIe M.2 solid state drive, giving me two storage drives. I use the laptop's fixed 64GB EMMC drive for running Windows, and all its apps, and the 256GB M.2 drive for documents and media. This extra ability to add additional storage is a big bonus for people like me who don't want to save all my content to a cloud. The E410's ability to add a second storage drive alone, makes this laptop stand out from others in it's class and price range, as it doesn’t take long to fill up it's standard 64GB drive, as the Windows files take up a decent portion of that 64GB. Watch out for deals here at Best Buy, as the 14" E410 is regularly found for under $150.

Don’t not buy this item thinking it’s gone be used for gaming. It’s a good cheap starter computer and will do enough for the task you need. Such as word, emails, and or school. Even does zoom calls pretty well.I give it a 3 star Becuase there are more options that pack more for a bit more.

For the money this is a good laptop. Dont expect to run anything super heavy on it, its good for emails, watching streaming shows, and a bit of writing.
The laptop is lite, with a built in number pad on the touch pad. The build is on part with other ASUS products, sturdy and no frills.
I bought 2 of them.

Was a bit skeptical about bout purchasing this laptop because it was a blind buy but for the price I couldn't refused to get it. After roughly three weeks of using this product I don't have much complaints besides windows being lock in S mode which can easily be work around by deactivating it. The battery life is 8/10, the device is light weight makes it easy to carry around, the charger of the device is not as bulky as older versions, sound audio is 6/10 in terms quality, its a budget laptop so don't expect much storage and high end graphics. Overall I'll give the device a 7/10.

I am giving only 4 stars only because this has only 4GB RAM. This is not a big issue for me, but will probably be an issue for those only using Windows 11. With no applications installed, Windows takes up about 50% of the available RAM. As soon as you run any other programs, memory is quickly consumed. That said, this is an excellent system for someone only checking e-mail, surfing the web, spreadsheets and documents.
My system came with Win 11 Home in S mode. It was easy to switch to Win 11 and install my software of choice - Firefox and LibreOffice.
Most of my work is done using Linux, so I purchased a 500GB PCIe M2.2280 drive for $60 and installed Ubuntu 20.04. I had to temporarily plug in a WiFi USB adapter to install the WiFi driver for the built-in interface.
Battery life appears to be excellent. I was using under battery power for more than 3 hours yesterday and it said I still had 6 hours remaining.
I purchased this on a Black Friday in July special for $100, but the current $130 price is still a good deal.
The biggest con for this system is the 4GB RAM. Even though Microsoft has that as the minimum for running Windows, that lets you do little more than boot-up. Speed can quickly dwindle if more than a couple applications are open at the same time. It would have been nice if these came with 128GB builtin drive, instead of the 64GB, especially since there is no SD/microSD slot.
For me, the biggest pros for this system is the ability to run Linux (the 4GB RAM is more than enough for most Linux's).
If you are a student and need something that for writing papers, do spreadsheets, check e-mail, search the internet and run for hours on battery, this could be for you.
One little surprise about this little laptop is the screen opens a full 180 degrees so it can lie open and lay flat on a table or desk.
I would recommend to friends (some of my friends us Linux), as long as they are comfortable with some of the weaknesses of the system.

I purchased this laptop for a different reason than most people. It was a great deal and easy to set up. I use it as a NAS (network-attached storage) server device to which I attach a 4TB SSD. It is amazing! Most NAS setups cost in the $400-$600 range so this DIY approach can save you plenty!

For sale price of 99 fillers you can't even barely get a chrome book. This laptop is very nice for the money. The battery life is fantastic and the keyboard is nice. The screen is plenty Bright and colors are good. Also like that it has a matt finished screen not glossy. 14 inch screen is an ideal size. It has USBs and an HDMI as well. This laptop is thin and light. If your looking for an inexpensive nice laptop this is it.

To be honest, this is a pretty sturdy laptop. I sadly have accidentally fell asleep with it and it would hit the floor. However, the screen is never damaged and it always runs fine. It is also easy to bring around unlike previous laptops I've had. I can fit it in my tote bag quickly on the go and find it manageable to work anywhere with it. The color also got me a few compliments haha. If you want a simple laptop for leisure or work, I recommend this one. It can be a bit slow at times, but again that could be from my own fault so take it with a grain of salt.
