I didn’t need anything fancy and just went with the cheapest laptop I could find. For the price paid, this laptop has been amazing. I still use it for online shopping, social media, etc., and it still works great. I highly recommend if you are looking for an affordable option.

But there was an issue with the keyboard. When you type a letter it was always followed by a number. Because of this I wasn’t really able to see if it was good or bad. Had to return it a day after unpacking. 2 stars since I couldn’t do anything with it.

All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or, part that stop working prematurely under normal usage.

Fine for what it is

I use it for light tasks, like ham radio applications. Lack of RAM is offset by using Microsoft one drive. Fine to use on the road for streaming, browsing, or for light single purpose computing.

Then the hard drive died on me. It had been a 17yrs without a single issue. So I grabbed this one for the price and the fact I had a job interview the next day. It does everything that I need and it had the additional space if needed that I can add. The only downside is this one is not a touch screen and the keyboard is smaller than I am use to. A wireless keyboard will fix that problem. Bottom line is Asus is a great brand and a workhorse. Great product.

Budget Computer easy to set up

I ONLY need a Windows-based computer for this one program so I wanted something very inexpensive. The setup was fast and easy. It's definitely a budget computer, but for what I needed it's perfect. It was cheaper than buying a used one!
