Certainly understand your disappointment if you are experiencing issues with the touchpad.
In order to improve the touchpad responsiveness and stability, please install all recommended WINDOWS Update. If you are accessing web applications, please verify if the laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will affect the responsiveness of the touchpad.
If the above-mentioned steps were performed to no avail, we recommend sending the laptop in for service.

We have had it only a few months and the microphone doesn't work (there goes Zoom classroom meetings etc. because no one can hear her). Obviously, it is under warranty, so we contacted Asus and work for an hour plus trouble shooting to discover it's a defect in the laptop itself (the technician acknowledged this). Shortly after working with them, now the audio is going out. When the volume is on 100%, you can barely hear it. I asked the company if they would simply replace the computer since it's clearly a default of the laptop itself and under warranty. Their response was "No, we don't offer that service." Now I have to ship the laptop to their company in Taiwan and they are not sure when we will receive it back. Really??? We are back to the drawing board on having a computer for her to use for on-line learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. I will not buy any products from this company again. Buyer beware.

I'm sorry to hear that you had audio issues with the laptop and with ASUS Support. That is absolutely not the kind of experience we want any of our customers to have. Can you please send me your serial number and RMA number? If you purchased the unit new from Best Buy, there should be no reason for us to send the unit to Taiwan for repairs. Please reach out to me at [email protected] and include case #N200744272 in your email for reference. I need to investigate your RMA for quality control.
