I received this laptop on 9/25/20 and have been very impressed with the functionality and speed of the computer. It works very well for all purposes advertised and runs excel and similar programs well for business and scholarly uses. My one complaint is that the battery life is absolutely NOT on par with what was advertised. Product specifications offers an 8-hour battery life but mine has not lasted more than 4 depending on what I am doing. One of the most important factors for me was battery life so I am pretty disappointed that this was not up to par. If you are going to use this when you have a power supply then it will be a great computer, but I really wish specs had listed an accurate battery life and not over-hyped it since that is something that will make or break a lot of people's choice of laptop.

I picked this laptop up for 600. It's amazing! The only thing I regret is I didn't check that the build in GPU takes 2gbs of RAM. Otherwise this laptop is great for office, and everyday use. Personally, I will be using this for college. I feel on a full charge this laptop will last for at least 5 hours. Very powerful cpu, ram, and SSD (Boot time is 1 second)!

When it comes to computers I only buy Asus. It doesn't get any better than a touch screen laptop/tablet (Ryzen 5). Turns on and off very quick and quietly and has excellent speed, plenty of storage and hd screening. It's NOT CHEAP, But it's WORTH THE INVESTMENT! Would recommend to anyone whose serious about handling online business.

My first windows computer in 15 years. Bought it to play old steam games in the quarantine that my Macs can’t play. I would give it 5 stars but windows is still the same system as 15 years ago. Annoying software on it, annoying notifications ... it’s windows. The Asus was the cheapest 8 mg ram with a lit keyboard. I did not even know they made computers without lit keyboards. The staffer at Best Buy Macedonia was very knowledgeable as he was a gamer. So if you stay with windows highly recommend Asus. I did buy several HP’s ar microcenter, one used and one new and very unhappy with both. Took them back and grabbed the Asus. A good move.

I have only had this for a few days and so far I am loving it. I am coming from an Acer 14 inch laptop with a lot less memory. So the speed this laptop offers is amazing. The screen size is perfect for me and they keyboard is very easy to type on. I love the light up keys it was a must have for my next laptop. I am finding the battery life to be okay. I would say you would get about a day of average use. I played the Sims on it for about an hour yesterday and it was at 50 percent when I finished. It is a little heavier then I expected. I don't tend to flip it around to just the touch screen. I worry about the hinges becoming loose after some time. Overall very happy with the laptop. The price point is really decent too for all that you get!

Bought this for my return to college. Has held up pretty nice so far and is plenty fast for web browsing, multitasking, and even started using it for light video editing. The battery can last you about 6-8 hours depending on settings, and what programs you have running. Great laptop so far!

We purchased this computer for my daughter to go back to college. Her last Asus lasted 6 years (!!!!) before the hard drive gave out. It was larger and harder to carry, but this one can slip right in her backpack and go to class with her. Still lightning fast and tons of memory. Asus is a really reliable machine!

I was so happy to find this pc when I did. I have been needing a new laptop and have done sooo much researching what would be the best fit for me. I wanted the 14” cause I had a larger and it was way too heavy for traveling. Also wanted a processor that was very current. I am very happy that I chose this one even though it was a last minute change, so many had told me that the amd ryzen processors were so much better with computing and so far I have had no issues. It’s so nice to have a computer that works fast and I always have multiple windows open. So far getting use to some differences of a smaller keyboard and I like it. Also the best thing of it all is with it being a solid state drive (SSD) it doesn’t get hot when I have it on my lap sitting up in bed. It’s a dream. I didn’t purchase a external hard drive which I think anyone needs just to keep files in a safe space no matter what could happen. All in all if you are and on the go traveler or at home or college or just day to day computer this is a great laptop.

I use it mainly for going through emails, browsing the web and YouTube and for a few programs like Rosetta Stone and Age of Empires; really responds well with no lag, screen size is perfect not too small, I like that it is touchscreen and folds back into tablet mode-responds very well to touchscreen input not slow or not precise like original android phones. So far only down side is that it's a bit quiet, speakers could be a bit louder but I mean, it's a laptop/tablet speakers on these things have never been ideal anyways so honestly not a problem at all. I would give a 10/10, unless you need something with high-high end resolution for editing or gaming or something like that, this machine gets the job done and some.

The computer processes games well enough so long as you're not playing intense high end games on max settings. Haven't had any issues yet with Wi-Fi connection or streaming. The face scan is a great feature if looking for quick login, just be patient with it and scan your face from multiple lighting conditions to get it to work optimally. Only issues is that the screen feels a little flimsy and if you're not flipping it open from the top, the screen gets discolored in the area you're flipping from for a little bit. Also the speakers are very weak so if you don't have headphones or an attached speaker you best be in a quiet area in order to hear clearly.

Very powerful and awesome! I really do enjoy this laptop. Below, I've broken down some key points you should read before buying: The touchscreen is awesome! It is extremely responsive and I love using this laptop in it's "Tablet' mode. The keyboard is back lit but I find it extremely dim. This could've been brighter. The speakers on this laptop are not the best, but are decent. They are really low and really don't bring out the video as much as you want. This is 100% a headphone kind of laptop. The laptop is a 2 hand open. The keyboard portion does not stay down as you lift the screen up. This is a deal breaker for some people. At this pricepoint, I'd tell you to wait until they put this bad boy on sale. You can get a 15.5 inch ASUS laptop for $100 less than this bad boy paired with an i7 and 12gb of ram.

The times I have bought a $$$$ laptop, I always eventually end p coming back to the Asus moderately priced laptops. Depending on what you have to do, this model blew many pricier laptops I have purchased in the past out of the water.
