This laptop is a perfect size, very easy to carry around. Touch screen comes in handy and is very fun. The screen looks really good. Sound quality from the laptop is not the best. But with headphones it sounds fine.

I'm a mac person. I use specialized pc software that I leave for other people to use so I wanted a small basic touchscreen laptop that wouldn't annoy me and this one succeeds. I bought an open box for 450.00.

Great for doing simple things such as using Microsoft Office but also great for playing games such as Minecraft and Team Fortress 2. The computer could use a little more disk space but other than that I love it.

ASUS Loyalist - Not Disappointed!

My last laptop purchase was an ASUS, and I was so impressed with the quality, longevity, and durability that when it came time to upgrade and pass that one on to my kids, choosing ASUS was a no-brainer. This laptop did not disappoint. It is sleek, easy to switch to laptop mode, comfortable to work with, and easy to acclimate to. The touchscreen works great, and I like that it can maintain a smaller profile, but still have a large screen since the entire top portion is monitor screen without a lot of empty space bordering it. Sound quality is great, let’s feel good, mousepad is easy to navigate. Definitely recommend this computer.

Great speed and awesome performance options. Only thing is the charger port failed. I truly liked the feel of the ASUS - 14" Touch-Screen Laptop - AMD Ryzen 5 - 8GB Memory - 256GB Solid State Drive - Silver. When I did return the product file exchange the process was surprisingly smooth. Thank you Best Buy Westminster, Colorado staff.
Peace to you All,

This was an awesome purchase and just came in on-time before my summer classes started. It is a very well rounded computer and is compatible with light gaming, but unfortunately the webcam seemed to have been damaged even though it is brand new. The camera shows a blue tint that wont go away, and that sucks because I use zoom and everything is a blue tint when I video myself or take a picture.

This laptop has been great. We got it for our teen daughter to replace an older Lenovo, for school work. She was able to set it up and use it for canvas and zoom, with no problems! My only gripe (and why I took off one star), is the sound is sub-par. It is hard to hear, and just wont go louder. If you aren't right in front of it, or if you are in a loud environment, you will need earphones. An example of this is, when my daughter was listening to a lecture she had to leave the room when my neighbor started mowing the lawn outside. My daughter is a musician, and participated in a canvas/zoom online intensive this past week. The quality of the sound others heard online when she used the laptop was not good. At first I thought this was an internet issue, but when we tried her iPad it was like night and day. She ended up using her iPad for streamed performances because the sound quality was so much better. I will look into if this can be remedied with an external speaker & microphone. Other than that, the computer is beautiful. Sleek, nice solid weight, and very flexible ( can be folded backwards -tent like-, and the sound actually projects better this way ). Keyboard is nice and easy to type on, and the screen is beautiful. For the price, it can't be beat. It is almost impossible to find the perfect laptop at this price range, and this one comes close.

I am a college student and I love this computer! The brightness is plenty good, the keyboard is nice, it has an ssd so it is very quick too. The trackpad is responsive, and it fairly lightweight. One this the website neglects to mention is that this laptop is a 2 in 1! which is what I wanted personally, but if you do not like a 2 in 1 design then keep your eye out. The one thing, (like every single laptop you will ever purchase) is the battery life is not as advertised. I'd say I'm getting around 5ish hours on the "better battery" battery saver option. I would say that you could push 8 hours if you drop the brightness a large sum and turn off the backlit keys, as well as put it in "battery saver" mode.
The ryzen 5 and the vega 8 chip is great too, for those CASUAL gamers. I emphasize casual b/c it only has 2gb of dedicated ram on the vega chip and 6 (actually 5.95) for the computer itself. [Not sure if upgradable]. But is does play most games like CSGO and Minecraft if you're into that. Don't expect it to run GPU heavy games though.
Nonetheless, I like it! it definitely gets the job done.

I purchased this to replace my Samsung tablet. The tablet works fine but doesn't have the capability of my laptop which I think is too large to carry on trips. This is larger than the tablet but smaller than a normal laptop and folds to make it easy to use on a plane. It has plenty of storage, is fast enough for daily computing and is easy to use. The screen is nice, but I'm not sure it is as clear as the Samsung. Haven't had any issues with programs other than using an incognito tab on the internet. Every time I choose incognito the whole screen flashes and won't stabilize until I shut the computer down and restart. Once restarted it works fine. It is supposed to be able to run for 10 hours on a charge but I haven't tried it for that long yet. I do find that if I use it for internet and mail for a couple of hours it will go to 60 percent pretty quickly. I watched a movie on prime and it went below 40 percent. Since it isn't tablet you aren't able to download prime movies to watch later. I did find and install blue stacks which lets the computer emulate a tablet and I was able to put the prime app on and download movies. However, using blue stacks I am unable to watch prime through the internet. Its a little unstable when downloading prime at times but I think that is the blue stacks program, not the computer. Overall it is a good buy and I'm getting used to the extra weight and heat generated over the tablet.

I bought this computer in October and used it to get through my last semester of college. All was well until corona hit and I was suddenly using the laptop all day, every day for notes, graphic design, video streaming, etc. And now there is a constant, very noticeable and obnoxious "whirring" sound in the computer - probably the fan having been knocked out of place. The frame is cheaper than it appears, the touch screen was cracked within a few weeks and is slowly migrating across my screen. I will definitely have to get it repaired. Not saying it's a bad laptop, it was definitely awesome while it was working! But if you buy it, buy with a warranty.

I've been in love MacBooks for quite awhile, but due to their vision of thin and light with the heavy price tag, I couldn't see myself spending 1500.00. While aiming towards the 360 functionality, powerful; processor and graphics, usbc, usb 3.0, and touchscreen/pen input; this ASUS fit the requirements.
Recommend this for anyone who wants to transition or enjoys windows and all it has to offer for productivity and entertainment. And the display on the 1080p display is rich and vibrant.
